Hi everyone !

I don´t know what to do.

I will book my next visit from the 02.01. until 07.01.14 very soon and we always stayed at the SQL. Its a lovely hotel even in winter.

But for 166 € more we could stay at the HNY this time.

I do not know if I should pay this extra costs or use the money to pay the tickets for the train to DLP.

It would be something new for us to stay at the HNY but the money could be spend otherwise.

Help me !

I'd would throw caution to the wind - Not keen on the phrase but You Only Live Once! HNY is beautiful, the beds are huge and the rooms are a good size - try to get your breakfast in the Manhattan too - very upmarket :)
It could be a Christmas present to yourself!
You know its only an extra €9.22 a week to save from now until you go :)

I'd go for HNY. I just love that hotel.

I like both hotels and would happily stay at either, it depends on whether you can afford it without it making things tight financially.

I would choose HNY if your budget allows. We have stayed at sequoia 3 times and once at HNY. Its my favourite Disney hotel - if you add up how much extra you would have to pay for a hot breakfast at SQL for each person for each day of your visit there might not be that much of a price difference. I love the atmosphere, the rooms, the location and the restaurants and I chose this hotel over a SQL golden forest room for our next trip in march :thumbsup2

I do like the HNY room size and hot breakfast in the Manhatten restaurant, but have to say having just returned from SL I much prefer the bar area and shop and the pool there. Also if you're travelling at a quieter time or using EMH the restaurants should be quieter for breakfast and don't forget there is usually the option to have breakfast at Plaza gardens.
I've stayed at HNY when travelling with my friend and her daughter and the room size and double sinks are great when sharing with another family, but if it's just 1 family I would probably save the money and go for SL. :coffee:

I've stayed at the HNY twice before, but never at SQL. I was actually thinking of trying SQL in December. Should I? I assume its the cutest hotel when decorated for Christmas.

I say if you've never stayed at HNY, try it! That's a small up charge. The rooms are nicely sized, the breakfast is a wonderful. I assume in January, there are shorter park hours, and you will be spending a little extra time in the room. Go for the larger room.

Ok...thank you all...decision made.

I will go for the SQL room.

We would love to stay in the HNY but deceided to spend the extra money either for the train tickets or for BBWWS.

We love the SQL and the HNY will be our next hotel in future trips.

:santa:
