Spybot removal question

I've been upgrading the Spybot on my computer whenever a new version comes out but I haven't deleted the old versions.
Is this something I need to be taking care of or can I just continue on as I've been doing and just leave the old versions on my computer?

If I need to remove the old ones is this something I can do via the add/remove area on my computer or have I complicated things by downloading the new versions on top of the old ones?

heya DisMN, if you are upgrading then you won't need to to uninstall anything.

If you are downloading newer versions instead of upgrades you still probably won't have a problem since the software will recognize the previous version and install accordingly.

You can always check to see if there are more than one installed but I think you're good to go

So I'd check in the add/remove area if there are more than one installed? LOL
I'm a bit computer challenged these days.....either I'm simply getting too old for this technical mumbo jumbo OR it's all just become way uber-complicated than my brain is able to comprehend.
