Yes, we left the Fort this morning , ,
but we had a most excellent time and met some wonderful Friends of the Fort during our visit.

As sad as leaving home is to have to go back to the world of reality, we won't be going home empty handed, we take with us the most wonderful memories possible..
so as Walt would say, "Let the memories begin !"

Yesterday's adventures.

On the way back we stopped at Golden Oak subdivision. The model house was so big we had to take 2 pics.

For years Frank has wondered and looked. And on the last day of our trip he discovered where all of Disney's magic comes from. First he found the delivery truck that was delivering that days allotment of Magic.

While taking these pictures the man responsible for delivering the Magic appeared out of nowhere. He was nice and friendly.

We hope everyone gets their share of the Magic and takes a little bit home with you.

Aww I had a little tear cause you guys had to leave. But I even more excited for March to come so I can enjoy my first trip to the fort. Drive home safely. And Frank I agree the memories are always the best part of what we get from Disney.

We are at The Forsyth Ga. KOA. Close to Atlanta airport, a railroad crossing and ON the I-75 interstate. If you're looking for a quiet nights sleep, this is not the place. Especially up front.

We will have some final thoughts and pictures when we get them all organized.

i would however like to mention that after we set up the site, there was a knock at the door, the gentleman from the office surprised us with 3 HUGE HOT CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES !!!!

It ain't Disney Magic, but it is hard to beat hot chocolate chip cookies just before bed time !!

We made it home yesterday afternoon, got the RV pretty much cleaned up and put away,,
now begins the transition back to a world not so full of Magic. Still running on my Happy Place mode.

It is 23 degrees out and the frost is so heavy I thought we had a bit of snow last night, Won't be sitt'n out under the awning with my coffee this morning.

But ya know what, OH what a awesome time we did have at the Fort.
The fun, the sun, and the magic ! All made for a great time and opportunity to meet some Friends of the Fort,

WoW! Thank you for all the great pics. We just bought an older camper/RV (89) and so far we have go two times camping. I would LOVE to take it to the Fort (but unsure if it will survive the 12 hr drive from Va) to Fish, canoe and Disney.. It's Winning~

We were the in the cabins at FW late October and feel your pain. My DW and I enjoyed your report and found FW to be our best choice for Disney. We also by the way love renting cabins in the Smokies. We are pet lovers also and I am usind your dogs thoughts of the sign as my background. I love the F & W Festival also. I don't like change either.

It was another great trip. The weather was WONDERFUL. The F&W Festival was better than last time. Wolfgang Puck Express rocks, if you have a DDP. The Ice Castle is awesome. The new Osborne light display is beautiful. Finally bringing back Fort merchandise.

Another highlight of our trip was meeting a fellow Disboards member rapriebe and her DH. We met up 4 times at the dock (imagine that ) looping, DHS and to say goodbye.

We were entering DHS at rope drop and there they were also. Frank had someone to ride ToT with and I had someone to go get fast passes with. It was a fun day indeed.

The 2nd time we met we were looping and they were walking. Talked for a few minutes, when a new camper pulled in next site over. It quickly became apparent they were new to camping. Without hesitating they went over there set them up inside and out. Explained all things WDW to them and offered them a ride to the grocery store. These are truly good campers and good people.

I think I forgot to thank them both for their service to this country. Thank you.
