Has anyone been to Sprinkles? If so, what is the stock like? Could I walk in & pick up 2 dozen cupcakes for a group, or would I need to order ahead of time?

Thanks in advance!!

With all Sprinkles locations it is best if you order ahead if you need a large amount.

It's just not laid out all that well. You come in kind of in the middle of the shop, and you join a line that is snaking to the right and splits into ordering stations.

Instead of the person taking your order just reaching into the case and packing your cupcake or handing it over, you get a number and then have to cross over to the left side of the store to wait for your order. There's always people there who are trying to take advantage of the AC and eat inside, even though there's really no inside seating, which clogs it up even further.

I wish they'd get pagers like earl of sandwich, because the congestion is really dumb.

They had decent stock but you'd be better off ordering ahead than waiting for however long it would take them to pack you two dozen cupcakes (omg...$100+ in cupcakes?), that's if they have the 2 dozen you want. When we went there was a lot of red velvet, chocolate, and something that looked like coconut available, but there wasn't a ton of anything else.

We tried Sprinkles for the first time the other day and won't be back. I wasn't impressed at all, it was just eh. I'm glad mine was free from signing up for the rewards program. I've had much better cupcakes at the parks then the one from Sprinkles. Really just don't get the hype at all.

Yeah, color us unimpressed as well. Wife had signed up for the rewards program, and it just so happened to be her birthday, as well. So, we got two free cupcakes out of our visit. The cupcakes, in our opinion, were far from great. Not worth the trouble of getting them. They were ok, but in our opinion, not worthy of all the praise some give them.

The problem with restaurants is that, generally speaking, once the popularity goes up, the quality goes down. Once it becomes a chain, the quality goes down even further, and once it appears on TV, forget it. We have venues (Carlo's, Magnolia, Serendipity 3) that haven't been good in YEARS, but they ride on their reputations & leave behind a trail of disappointed, confused customers. I think Sprinkles fits into that category.

How is the ATM? Are the cupcakes fresh? Is there a good variety?

We were just there on Friday. Line was INSANE but cupcakes were delicious. Definitely order ahead!

ATM should be same freshness as in the shop. They just stock it that morning with fresh cupcakes then restock through out the day.

Totally random but would be good knowledge for locals. Sprinkles makes a great pupcake! We get them every year for our pooches birthdays (randomly only available in the ATM) but it is 4 dollars for two and our dogs really like them.

I couldn't believe the long line outside queued in about three rows, even the ATM had a long queue. They are going to need FP+ at this place.

You can sign up for their Perks program and get a free cupcake!

Sprinkles also has apps for iPhone and Android that stores your Perks account number so you don't have to remember it plus you can use the app to order online, so it would be really easy for pick-up, especially for larger orders like the one OP was inquiring about...pretty slick!

Oops, looks like the Disney Springs location does not allow you to order online but I'm thinking that might change once the newness wears off and the lines aren't as long.

I just signed up for the perks and it says I have zero free cupcakes. Did they discontinue this??

You don't get the sign up cupcake any more. My friend and I signed up and when we asked at DS why we didn't get the promo they said it was only when perks first launched and is no longer available.
