Off topic, but did the photopass links appear before expo pass day for princess (hence indicating bib numbers)? I had so much fun speculating corrals before we got the passes for MW this year, even if it’s only a day or two ahead

The PhotoPass IDs did not include our bib numbers during Princess. If Springtime does the same, then you won't be able to use the IDs to get your bib number early.

There will be a place outside the main shopping area to try on Brooks shoes (generic designs) to see how they fit. It sound like you have to get a slip of paper from the trialing area with desired style, size, width, quantity before you go to the Brooks area in the main shopping area. There is a limit to how many you can buy (at least on first day). No discounts. Must pay with debit or credit card.

No. If anything, they usually do away with requiring VQ by mid afternoon.

I wonder if Club members with early merch access will also have access to the Brooks shoes? It sounds like it, but the update posted says the same thing it always does about Club access. And we already got the email about times at the end of February, pre-Brooks info.

So I guess my plan for the early window is to race to the 10K section for my Herc merch, then get in line for the magic Brooks buying slip. Glad I already wear Brooks and know what styles work for me!.

I suspect that, because people will be trying on shoes, Disney is expecting the VQ to move slower and therefore will be limiting the first drop.

Honestly, I'm kind of glad to not be going this weekend. I expected that the Brooks stuff is going to add a whole other layer of crazy.

I’m wondering if the Brooks ‘trial’ area will be in the holding area where we queue sometimes to be let into the merch area.

I doubt it as they still use this area as a pre-staging spot. My guess is they'll use the space outside the main 'ring' of rD merch, where things like the checkout, AP, Pandora, and merch pickup areas often are. But there ARE other spaces like that holding area, so I reserve the right to be totally wrong.

Any guesses on how quickly the 830 VQ window will fill since they are adding a second drop time….

I just want to pick up my pins and hopefully snag my magnets and shoe ornament and really don’t want to have to double back to the expo later in the weekend

I’m wondering if it will really fill up (but I guess it would have to…) or if the 2nd queue is really for people who are not within 45 miles for the first drop. Those shoes may make more non runDisney people show up.

Just watched her story. They are Ghost Max 2, which is what I wear! I don't loooove the Minnie design though. Fingers crossed for more.

EDIT: Looks like they weren't supposed to put that up yet as it's now gone. Oops! The shoes were red with white polka dots on the outsoles, white laces and a black Minnie icon shape on the back. Lots of other red and white polka dot touches and a yellow tongue tab iirc.

This is way more theming than I expected, wow. Sorta just expected colorways to match different characters, like Disney-bounding in a way.

Would guess other influencers are getting them in the mail too, wonder if we'll see other pairs.

Me too! Maybe because that's what the NB shoes were like? I hope we get more designs because these are a LOT.

I like these, but red is not my favorite color, so I probably wouldn’t get these particular ones.
Didn’t they say something about the shoes being themed to characters or something like that originally?
