A few questions for those who have stayed here,
1. How big are the sofa beds? Will two adults fit, and will I get a good night's sleep?
2. From the pictures it looks like the bathrooms have a glass door. Please tell me there is a door I can't see from the pics that will actually give some privacy. I don't want to walk by and see someone doing "their business".
3. How far is the walk. I have read everything from 7 minutes to 25 minutes. So what's the real time.
4. We are a family of 6, are we going to be too tight in a kid suite or is it doable?
5. My other options are the hilton and hyatt place, how do these places compare in walking distance.
Thanks

1) I didn't open up the sofabeds, it seemed a decent size, but I don't remember if it was just a twin size. You should probably call and ask them the actual size.
2)There is a sliding wooden door that closes off the whole bathroom. I think there is a separate door that also closes off the toilet from the sink area.
3) It is right at the corner across from the 7/11. It's definitely doable, but probably a 10-15 leisurely pace walk, so right at the limit of walkable in my opinion. Don't forget the long walk past the buses and security check once you turn in from the street. It will seem really long if you are tired.
4) If you sleep 2 to a queen and 1 in each bunkbed, I count 6 without needing the sofabed. Living space wise, these rooms are kind of spread out with 2 TVs so it depends how restless your family gets if that is enough space.

5)If you are referring to the older hilton near the convention center, it is about a long half-block farther than springhill, but it is closer to the toystory parking lot shuttle if you want to hitch a ride on that.
Hyatt Place is even farther down the street but I think it offers its own shuttle included in resort fee.

Thanks for answering all my questions mgd! I don't know much about the toy story lot. How long is the walk to get there? Does the bus go straight to the parks or does it make stops along the way? Would this be a viable option from the springhill suites, or only really from the hilton?

The walk from the Hilton to the toy story lot will take about 5 minutes. The busses go straight to the parks. However at park opening. You may have to stand in line for a bus as there are more people than will fit on one bus. We stayed at the spring hill suites this Labor Day weekend and thought it was pretty nice. The rooms are very big. The walk isn't horrible. Also you get breakfast for free with ur room. It isn't the best food but it isn't horrible either. If I were choosing I would pick the cheaper one as I like both the Hilton and springhill about equally
