We just got back from a 5 night stay at this new hotel on Ball Road. We used points for our stay so I'm not sure how much the nightly rate would have been. Having been open just a few months, the hotel looked, felt and smelled new.

We checked in at 10 am and our studio suite was ready. We asked for an upgrade to a one-bedroom and they gave us one, however, it wasn't ready until 3 pm.

The one-bedroom suite was huge. It had a separate living area with kitchenette-full-size fridge, 2 burner stove, sink, microwave etc. It came with pots and pans and plastic tupperware. There were plastic plates, cups and utensils.

Next to the kitchenette was a dining table with 2 chairs and a banquette on the other side.

There was a sofa bed and chairs, TV with stand, desk and chair and a weird storage cabinet with sliding doors but no shelving.

The room was large and the furniture was not to scale so the room looked sparsely furnished. There were tons of electrical outlets but some of them didn't work. The A/C fan units were loud and we had to turn them off during the night.

The closed off bedroom was the studio suite. There was a L-shaped sofabed, half wall partition/desk and then 2 queen beds.

Opposite the beds was the large closet and bathroom which had only one sink, tub/shower combo.

The sofa bed mattresses were thin and looked uncomfortable.

In the whole one-bedroom suite, there were only 2 drawers to store clothes. There wasn't any storage in the bathroom either except for the counter space. The safe was high above on the closet shelf so it was hard to access.

We had issues with the shower handle which we brought to their attention. They weren't able to fix it during our stay as the maintenance guy had to order the parts.

They were generous with extra towels, pillows, and toiletries.

Each employee we encountered was friendly and accommodating.

The pool was medium sized and clean. There were plenty of pool towels.

Breakfast was free so you get what you pay for. The fake eggs were indicative of the quality of the breakfast. There was a waffle station. For protein, there was a rotation of thin bacon, salty sausage patties, and biscuits and gravy. There were cereals, pastries, bagels, toast, oatmeal, and yogurt. Our first morning wasn't too crowded but the rest of the time, the breakfast area was packed. There was a big church group from Australia that took up a majority of the tables.

We walked to and from the parks about 4 times. The walk was doable. We went down Walnut to Magic Way and over towards Downtown Disney. We took ART the rest of the time. We were on route 11 and it was consistently inconsistent. We lucked out a couple of the times with the bus being right there but a few times we waited over 30 minutes. DH and I agreed that taking the ART was a "been there, done that, don't want to ever have to do it again."

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the review. I will have to check it out sometime. We stay at the embassy now when we want a suite. I wonder if this one is nicer for a similar price.
