Springbok ever on the menu at Boma's or Jiko?

It's about as South African as it get's, and I was really hoping it's on the menu sometimes. They are a type of gazelle, they might have some back in the Savanah behind AKL, but I get them confused with Thompson's G.

I definitely think not. Either restaurant isn't very "gamey." Sorry.

Nope. I think it would be cool if they had those South African Sprinbok sausages (droerwors) for apps tho. I'd love to try them alongside a wonderful SA wine.

They used to have alot of game on the menu at Artist Point, but it must not have sold too well because the stopped doing that years ago. Shame too, because we loved the Elk & the Ostrich.

they did not have any "SA animals" on the menu two weeks ago... had a bottle of Foundry Syrah, though. Excellent.

now I'm in the mood for biltong....
