Does anyone have any information about any deals for spring training? My granddaughter loves the Phillies and my daughter is trying to surprise her. Just wanted to plan ahead.

Thank you

No news about "deals", since all Spring Training tickets (including the ones at WDW) are sold only by Ticketmaster, not the individual baseball clubs.

If you don't already have information about Spring Training games at WDW, Spring Training Online is an excellent source.

From personal experience, the WDW games sell-out quickly (especially since both the Braves and Phillies made a postseason appearance in 2010) -- best to get yourself on Ticketmaster's alert list.

Were you looking to go to Brighthouse field (the Phillies spring training field) in Clearwater or the game they play against the Braves at WDW? The Phillies sell tickets to all their Spring Training home games on their website. You can also find tickets available on Craig's list too. We went last year and bought through the Phillies site. Just keep a watch for when single game tickets go on sale.

Go Phillies!

I go to Spring Training every year, but I'm a Yankees fan :). I agrre with checking www.springtrainingonline.com, it's a great resource. The Phillies schedule has been posted and it looks like home game tickets go on sale January 7, 2011. Yankees tickets go on sale this Friday morning, a month earlier than usual. Spring Traning is a lot of fun! I get to combine my love of baseball and my love of Disney. This will be my 14 year and I can't wait! Will be there March 5-13...

Actually, the Phillies provide a link to get ST tickets -- the tickets are still sold by Ticketmaster, not the Phils.

You can also find tickets available on Craig's list too.

And, of course, it's Craigslist -- I would be really skeptical of buying anything through that venue, budget, or not.

A much better/safer alternative for ticket resales is StubHub.
