Spring Training Baseball Games

Hi, need some info.

We are going to go a Braves Spring Training game at Disney's sports complex. Are these games a full 9 innings, or will it be an abreviated game?

Any info is appreciated.

They are full 9 inning games!!!

Minor leaguers are also there for spring training too !!!

We went a couple of years ago and the game was tied after 9 innings, it went into extra innings. Just like major league ball.

Have fun, we are hoping to catch a game too.

Just a comment if you go to the games expecting to see your favorite baseball players: In spring training games, the regulars (stars) tend to play only a few innings and then leave. We saw the Red Sox play the Devil Rays in Tampa last year, and all the stars played 3 or 4 innings, and then left shortly after (I mean, literally left - Nomar, Manny, etc. climbed into a van and left).
On the other hand, you are so much closer to the players there than at a MLB stadium. My DH was so excited to get Nomar's autograph.

We have been to several spring training games, and the stadium at WDW is one of the nicer ones! Enjoy if you go.

Thanks for the help guys!

We are sooo excited!! I will make sure we get there early for warm ups and maybe a few autos from the big guys. My husbands BF played BB with Aundrew Jones in Curacau (spl?) as boys. We are hoping to get to meet him. But just being close to the big guys will be great. We have a AA team in our home town and really love the feel of these fields over the major league stadiums. Nothing is better than Disney, execpt Baseball AT Disney.

We are also heading down to disney in a few weeks to catch a ST game against the yankees. I have been to tampa for NYY ST and know that they have open practices and all and you can get many autographs. But it was a game of being there at the right time! Does any one have tips for games held at Wide World of Sports?
