Spring - Ford School District - in PA?

Can anybody tell me about it? Also, I heard something about new schools being built, but can't remember what I heard.

Any advice / info would be appreciated.

We're not in Spring-Ford so I can't speak as a school "consumer" for them, but only from living in SE Pennsylvania and from visiting after-school programs in some of their elementary schools as part of my job. The district has a good reputation, not in the top tier, but still very good. I think they are well known for their athletic success and I also think you are right about new construction; maybe an expansion at the high school?

It is a very large district covering multiple communities so if your child would be overwhelmed in a huge high school that may be a consideration.

I live in the district and graduated from there in the late 80's. There are no new schools being built at the time (from what I see in the local newspaper). However, 2 of the schools are less than 5 years and I believe all have been renovated (except maybe Spring City). The completed an addition on the high school for this year.

I don't have children but when my niece and nephew lived with us - I was very happy with Royersford Elem. The district does well with test scores and a high college acceptance rate.
