***Spring Disney Pin sent/received***.....COMPLETED!!

Hugs to silverarrowknits! Thank you!
She sent
an Evil Queen pin that I didn't have:love:
and a really cute Jungle Book pin
AND
cute Ariel stickers
Thanks again!
I have to go back and figure out if all the ones I sent have arrived!:rotfl:

I am glad you liked the pins and stickers!

All of my pins have arrived! :cool1: I am just waiting for 1 package for me now.

I got my exchange in the mail today but sadly it was not in great shape. It came in a paper envelope without bubble wrap so I guess it poked a hole through the envelope.

Inside was a really cute goofy pin which I think is part of the vmk game. The back of the pin was bent almost all the way down though. I guess something heavy must have been on top of it. I am not sure who it was from, the note must have fallen out. :( If there was anything else in there I am so sorry, it must have fallen out as well.

You only got the one pin, Amanda? That was from schnerk.

silverarrowknits, your second one was mailed out on 3/31, so hopefully it will arrive soon ::yes::

Queenbillabong, yours also was just mailed out, so it might be a bit for that arrival.

I have some news...:thumbsup2

I received the cutest pins from DJT today. I got a Lady and the Tramp pin (love it) and also a Pirate Mickey pin (really cute).

Thanks a bunch Donna and I don't already have them and I really love them both.:yay:

Oooooooooooops I forgot to add that I also received two cute little bulldog clips, one of Minnie and the other Daisy.:cheer2:

:woohoo: for another arrival.

Only 16 more to go :rotfl:

The package I sent probably won't arrive until Monday of next week. But with a bit of luck it may get there by Saturday....so....fingers crossed.

I think the exchange will be going for at least another week.
We have several international ones that were just mailed and a person on vacation that isn't mailing until she gets back.

I thought I was the only one that the 2 hours to WDW drives crazy. I know I could not do the 6 it takes to DL.

It makes me want to go to Disneyland but I don't know if I could be on a plane long enough to get there. It's all I can do to be on a plane for two hours from here to Florida.

I'm so glad they finally arrived, Nutsy. I was worried about them. Glad you like them.

Mailing in a regular envelope is a major do not do in the pin trading world -- just for future reference. Most likely IF the pins arrive at all, they will be damaged, or weak from mistreatment during mailing. (I recall once even receiving a bubble envelope with a tire tread across it, and a pin back bent all the way down. )
I use bubble envelopes, and padding around the pin(s). If for some reason I don't have either, I don't mail. (But I always have both on hand. :rotfl2: )

I thought I was the only one that the 2 hours to WDW drives crazy. I know I could not do the 6 it takes to DL.

When we go to Disneyland in the summer our flight from London to LAX is 11 1/2 hours!! I hate long haul, but the thought of Disney at the other end gets me through it!!

I hate the long flights too....but like Karen said, it is worth it in the end.
DH goes to India a couple times a year....talk about long flights :faint: Not sure I could do that.

My son won't let us fly...he's too afraid of heights:sad2:

So instead of a 2 1/2 hour plane ride we drive for 17 hours:scared1: :headache: :headache:

:dance3: This is my 3 kids in the back seat:rotfl2:

I will make it to Disneyland one day even if we have to drive:drive:

Kimba

:scared1: I would need a tranquilizer. ::yes::

I love to fly, just can't sit still. I drive my family crazy, because of that. I am constantly bopping around the house.

I can sit still, I just don't like being up in the air in a plane. :scared1: How does that thing stay up there anyway? :rotfl: Somehow I always manage to get on and once I arrive, I am so relieved. Then I try to not think about the fact that I have to get back on one a few days later to come back home. :)

Donna

I have a hard time sitting still too. It is hard on the plane...going red eye to WDW helps. I put on the headphones and DVD player and close my eyes and pretend I am home asleep :rotfl:

My daughter, and I had recieved pin exchanges today :goodvibes .

From Ethan-TheDisneyBunch's DS-
*Mulan pin.
*Ariel pin.
*Mickey sponge scrapbooking sticker.

Thank you to all of you for all the great pins, and extras. This was truly a pin day. Just one more to be recieved. :goodvibes

I totally missed this and was wondering if my pins had arrived. Ack, sorry, been a busy bee with spring cleaning lately! :laundy:

Anyway, so very glad you liked your pins. I had the hardest time picking what to send her since my girly pins are so limited..:rotfl:

I received a package today from The Disney Bunch. I got these pins:

The Disney Bunch also sent a little Mickey with a sticky back. I'm thinking maybe I could stick him to my monitor where I can see him all the time. :)

Thank you so much Amanda and Ethan. You did a great job picking out the pins.

Donna

YEAH! So glad they arrived and you enjoyed them. :goodvibes Hopefully you did not already have either of them.

You guys who fly are so lucky. We drive and oh goodness I hate that 9 hour drive but in the end...so worth it..haha!!

I can't wait for Sept so we can go again! I best start putting away moneyfor pin buying when I get there. My dream will be to move within 30 mins of Disney..and get a job there just to get the discounts and first pick on pins..:rotfl: :rotfl:
