Did any other Disney Visa people here on the Dis actually get the email about the $1000 off? I mean, I couldn't have been the only one of us, right?
I"m in my 30s... and I know exactly who we are talking about! We are talking about some of the pinnacle of American Culture... and a show that aired on Disney's television network - ABC (though they didn't own it at the time)Amazing! I'm old!
I did.Did any other Disney Visa people here on the Dis actually get the email about the $1000 off? I mean, I couldn't have been the only one of us, right?
It certainly seems much more guarded than the secret passcode when checking into a Kimpton hotel.I just saw this article https://dvcnews.com/dvc-program-men...news/6348-disney-visa-offer-adds-1000-savings and had to laugh at the VERY TRUE opening line-

I did as well but it was in my junk folder and I wouldn't have known about it unless you had posted it.Did any other Disney Visa people here on the Dis actually get the email about the $1000 off? I mean, I couldn't have been the only one of us, right?

Our other traditional vacation outside Disney is Wildwood/Cape May NJ. I feel like:
Boardwalk is Wildwood - People who actually want to go into the ocean. That is the main goal.
Beach Club is Cape May - people who want the more historical fancy oceanside style vacation
Yacht Club is Cape May Harbor - people who want 7yo ‘Preston Howell III’ to start taking their sailing lessons this summer, because nautical knowledge is the best preparation for navigating life
Yes, I have them. I'm not sure it will allow me to upload them, but I'll try. These expired on 2/9/26Does anyone have a downloaded copy of the PDFs for Riviera or Poly from the prior incentive period?
I'm curious to compare a couple things and having one version of the PDFs would be useful. I hate that they took them away.
TY! That worked!Yes, I have them. I'm not sure it will allow me to upload them, but I'll try. These expired on 2/9/26
Same here. It ended up in my spam folder from Disney Rewards, and never would have known about it without reading it here.I did as well but it was in my junk folder and I wouldn't have known about it unless you had posted it.
Do you love SSR? Do you love Poly?Rewriting our POLY now saves $650 compared to the last round.
Not going to lie. Some part of me wants to swap to SSR. I can get 200 points vs 150 points for the same amount of money.
Never visited SSR.Do you love SSR? Do you love Poly?
ooofff. I would stick with Poly. Cheaper isnt always better. Big risk in buying direct at a place you have never been.Never visited SSR.
We are fine with Poly if we are stuck there.
Yea I agree. BUT. We always book a 1-bedroom at beach club or BW. And those 1 bedroom are always available right at 7 monthsooofff. I would stick with Poly. Cheaper isnt always better. Big risk in buying direct at a place you have never been.
SSR is a VERY different experience than Poly. But are you really just buying for SAP+ it sounds like?Never visited SSR.

Things change. That 7 month availability may not always be there. The only guarantee DVC gives is booking your home resort at 11 months. I wouldnt gamble. But thats just my personal take on it.Yea I agree. BUT. We always book a 1-bedroom at beach club or BW. And those 1 bedroom are always available right at 7 months
But poly have longer contract date. less dues.
Yes but you could do the same with the Poly points and remember those will always rent and go for a premium even at the board sponsor where you would be lucky to get $14 a point for SSR unless you had a confirmed reservation.Yea I agree.
