I thought I'd start a new thread for the early spring incentives. Looks like our old links are broken, but figured we can share intelligence about what we've figured out. I'll start with this post and then add one for each of the actively selling resorts and SSR, which looks like it is the "sold out" resort on sale this period. I'll try to update each post as we get more information.

Looks like current incentives start today, 2/10/2026, and last until 4/27/2026.

In addition to the per point incentives, it looks like each actively selling resort has a 35th Anniversary $1,000 off which you are eligible for if you add 150 points or more.

If you find any errors in any of the opening posts, please let me know, and I'll correct it when I get a chance.

SSR Pricing

Starting "sold out" price is $215/point. If someone gets the pricing, I'll update here.

Looks like the only way to get information is to contact a guide. From recent reports, if you do this, it will start a 7-day clock and DVC MIGHT refuse a sale after that point, although it may also be that you only get one 7-day clock per incentive period, and as long as you are willing to say "yes" prior to the end of incentives being available, you could still secure the sale (reports vary).

VDH at 150 is pretty much the same. Don't know if D23 will still apply, but if my math is right its about $500 between cycles.

Edit: adding math which is always an adventure :)

247-24= $223 x 150 = $33,450 - $1,000 = $32,450 (minus d23?) -$500 = $31,950

Last cycle was $31,300.

Glad I pulled the trigger on my last round of Poly points when I did to lock in my fixed week especially since this round is going to run through the start of my use year. Obviously DVC is very happy to continue selling points at their current rate and knows they don't need much incentive to sell Poly.

I really think it means the 7 day clock under the law doesn’t restart a second time during the same incentive period.

But, if you want to buy and the incentives are still being offered, you can get them.

That may be how it works in practice, but that's not what a few people have reported on here that guides are telling them.

Guides are telling people that they only get one tour and one chance during an incentive cycle to buy. After that 7 day window closes they have to wait until the next incentive cycle to buy.

I guess my reading of those reports wasn’t the same.

I edited my SSR post to account for the varying reports we've heard.

I'm aware of someone on these boards who switched to my guide and toured PVB last incentive period and was told after the 7-day period that her hands were tied and they could not purchase until the next incentive period. After some back and forth and this person complaining that the last guide didn't respond to calls, she was able to get it approved. It sounded like our guide clearly wanted the sale, but was being told by her superiors that she just couldn't make it happen. And, our guide is the opposite of a pushy, used car salesman type person.

Unless I'm missing something. I don't have the old incentives sheet in front of me, but here is what I think it was.

200 points (using existing member discount details)
  • Old- $235/pt. $12 savings/pt brings it to $223/pt. $500 for D23 Gold brings it to $220.5/pt. Sell back 2025 points, which I think was $20/pt. That brings it to $200.5/pt.
  • New - $243/pt ($8 increase). Still a $12 savings per pt but increase makes it $231/pt. $1000 flash promotion to offset some of the increase pain, brings it to $226/pt. Assuming $500 for D23 Gold, it's $223.5/pt. See back 2025 points at $20/pt. That makes it $203.5/pt.
Looks like we will be signing our add-on from the previous incentives.

From what I recall over the 16 years we have owned. DVD often uses that tactic of price increase with a quick discount to make it close (but not as good) as the price with incentives before the increase. The exceptions I recall have been great recession, flash sales (Peltz proxy battle likely caused VGF/BPK summer sale), and decisions to finally lower prices (CFW).

That's been exactly what I have observed too. I straddled two incentive periods last year on two 300-point RIV purchases. And, that was the case on both - that said, when they brought out the Welcome Home Week incentives, it was better than the prior period, and they did re-write my contract, but those incentives were announced mid-incentive cycle and were a bit of a surprise.
