Hey folks!

I'm considering a solo trip in may. Either the weekend of may the 4th or the following weekend for Mother's Day.

Big star wars fan so being in the parks on the may the 4th has been on the bucket list. I would also be interested in Star Wars nite ticket if they do that. I would be a 4 day/3night trip.

From previous experience how hard is it to get the Star Wars nite ticket? Does Disneyland close early? Is there a lot of fun in the parks on May the 4th even without star wars nite?

Honestly I'm so up in the air about dates because I would also like to know when Fantasmic is coming back and what the parade offering might be..

I've been there for Mother's day before, and for Star Wars nite. They were both good crowd-wise.

They close early on the event nite, I think at 8:00, but the mix-in starts at 6:00, so if you have Star Wars nite tickets you could go in at 6. I've always managed to get Star Wars tickets, but you have to dedicate yourself to sitting at your computer/phone the day they become available. They do sell out fast.

I think you'd have a great time going to Star Wars nite if they have it. Last year they announced it a few months after they announced all the other after-dark events, so we weren't sure they'd even do it. In the end, they did, but I don't know it's a sure thing for next year. Being at Disneyland on May 4th would be fun either way, though :)
