I have tried & tried this week to convince my children (ages 15,11 & 5) that the school district gives them a yearly spring break so that they may spring clean the house. :lmao: I don't know why they don't believe me.

My 15 yo went to stay at a friends last night & will help clean "later". DS11 insists that he can't do anything until his show is over. DS5 has agreed to clean but first wants a dollar amount set & wants me to start with taking the easter wreath off of the door. :rotfl2:

I guess it would be wrong if I typed up a fake letter from the school board in an attempt to encourage them to Spring clean huh? :confused3

You could threaten to spring clean their rooms and anything you didn't deem necessary would go. When I was younger, if I didn't bother to help with the spring clean or whatever I sat in my room and didn't get a vote in what left the house.

Now that I think about it, I could get a lot more done if they would just go outside to play.:lmao: Oh & if the Dis would go down for the day I could really get alot done! :rotfl2:
