OK so I know the parks with be really full at both times. But if you had to make a choice to go which would you choose? Dec. 21-31 or March 28-April 7.

We are early morning people and heavy planners so will definately make good use of our time. :surfweb: I hate standing in line and crowds but know we won't be able to avoid them either. :confused3

I figure we have a better chance at lower crowds in the spring so I was leaning towards spring break but would love to take in the christmas scene and all the special treats. Just realllllly dreading the crowds! ANY TIPS out there????:scared:

This is a trip we can rarely make and will be flying in from Washington State so which dates would you choose and why?

I would lean towards spring break. Your dates are actually earlier than many spring breaks. The most popular weeks are the ones directly before and after easter (easter is April 12th this year). So as it will be busy it might not be nuts.

We are going the actual week of easter - CRAZY I know.

Have Fun

Definately Christmas. There is nothing like Disney during Christmas. It is even more magical. Not to mention it gets really hot here during spring break. Yes there are alot of people around Christmas but the lines aren't as bad as during Spring Break! You can see things during Christmas that you won't see other times. Like the Osborne Festival of Lights at Hollywood Studios. The Very MErry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and the Life Size Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. We make dinner reservations every year to go eat at 1900 Park Fare just so we can go see the Gingerbread House. There is something special at Most of the resorts. Don't forget the Candlelight Processional and Tree lighting at Epcot with Santas and storytelling in each country. I just love the extra magic.

I've done our spring break (mid March), Easter, and Christmas (Dec 26 - Jan 2).

The Christmas time trip was SO CRAZY crowded. We did enjoy it, as we spent the majority of the time at the resort. The parks would be so jammed by mid morning it was just nuts.

Spring break isn't too bad, I never had it too busy. I'd go over spring break definitely. Easter day at MK was very pretty - we usually don't stay at MK all day anyway, just for the morning. We've done spring break a few times, and it's never been a problem at all.

We've been there before and after Christmas and it's rediculously crowded after Christmas. As long as you aren't going during the college spring breaks, spring is a beautiful time to go. Check the airfare prices too, that could help make your dicision.
