Day 3 = three parks, one day

We started our day with breakfast at the hotel. DH and I ate in the food court and brought food back to the room for the kids. Teenagers need their beauty rest. Then off to Blizzard Beach.

I was a little concerned because there was a chill in the morning air. We arrived before opening and waited for the rope to drop. Didn't need a locker as we traveled light so headed straight to grab a couple of chairs by the preteen area. Our first stop was the family raft ride. We asked the CM and we were the third family riding. The water was warm and the ride was fun. Then DS headed off to Slush Gusher while the rest of us did Run Off Rapids. There was no wait and we could ride as fast as we could climb the stairs, which was getting slower and slower. DD and I went off to do the Toboggan Racers. I decided I don't like sliding on my stomach any more. The four of us reunited and we did Snow Stormers and the Cross Country Creek 1 1/2 times around. We did the family raft ride once more but had to wait about 15 minutes. The lines were getting longer so we decided to head back to the hotel for dry clothes and lunch. It was about noon. Three hours of stair climbing is all my knees can take.

Once back in dry clothes with full bellies, we headed off to the AK. Started by getting FP for Primeval Whirl then waited 35 minutes for Safari. This was our longest wait of the trip. Some of us thought that the animals might not be out because it was about 2 in the afternoon. WRONG. We saw lots of animals. Then the kids took all 4 FP and did Primeval Whirl twice while DH and I saw ITTBAB. (We all chose what we wanted to do.) We saw bits and pieces of the parade during this time too. DH and DS went to do Dinosaur with a FP while DD and I looked at shops. Then I did something I really wanted to do and enjoyed very much. I took the trails around the base of The Tree of Life and looked at the carvings. It was serene and peaceful in there. I saw only 1 or 2 other people. It really took me away from the hustle and bustle.

The park was getting ready to close. The boys ate at Flame Tree BBQ but that looked too heavy for me and DD. We had bought a photo and decided to take it back to the hotel and DD and I grabbed a lighter dinner there then we all headed to the MK.

We went straight to Buzz Lightyear after checking the wait times board. (We found this to be very helpful in each park.) We waited 20 minutes for the ride. DS's gun didn't work so when we told the CM he let us all ride again without waiting. Not a bad deal. After that we watched Wishes and the 11PM Spectromagic. Both lived up to their expectations. We were all tired from a long and jam packed day. Back to the hotel and to bed.

Tomorrow= MK and EPCOT
