Spring Break Discount?

This year, our school district has a Spring break instead of an Easter break. The dates are March 24-April 3. Does Disney historically offer breaks in March and April for the days not surrounding Easter? If we want to stay on property, is it better to book a mod at room-only (at a discount...if we have a pin), or rent points to stay at a studio? Also, is there a chance for dining discounts or free dining for these dates?

People are getting pins for those dates and yes they do offer discounts over Spring Break times - usually. I doubt any free dining since they seemed to have already announced that thru September.

A CM this week told me there should be some good discounts for my time frame coming out soon. (March 12-20)

We always travel that week, and a few years ago we had the deal of a century, the buy 4 get 3 free if you checked in by the Sunday of that week, at that time it was Mar. 27 I think. Last year I think the deal was similar, just not as many free days. Free dining is really no deal unless you really utilize the buffets, and I have never seen that discount in March. Hope this helps, we are waiting for the discount too!
