Spring Break Car Rental

I have mine booked but the price was higher than I liked. Any idea when the prices should start to drop? I've been checking occasionally and so far nothing better than what I have booked. Usually we pick up from Swan/Dolphin and this time we're just getting the car at the airport - thought that would make it cheaper not more expensive.

I know what you mean. They are Mad Crazy. When are you going? We are going the last week of April and a small car for one week is currently around $383.00.

I was looking at prices between $570 and $750 for a week in a mini van over Easter...
I saw the thread about the budget code and tried it and got the same budget minivan that was $570 for $302 (that's the total price...after all the taxes and fees!)....
Then I signed up for the fast break program and booked it with that code....I'll be able to just show my drivers license and walk right up to the van...

Our Spring Break is the week of March 18th. Right now we have a midsize at National for $400 for the week and we can pick off the aisle so we may get a better car but it's still high. We are more used to around $250 for a week. Still hoping it'll go down.

Man I feel for you guys. We're getting a suv for 18 days for $680 through ebookers.ie which seems good to me. Just checked and last week April for a midsize is $233. Guess we need some benefits after paying for the flights!
