Love the pictures with the statues and the castle in the background, especially the Walt and Mickey one! I've actually never looked at the detail of Mickey before and now I can see it with the picture

Space Mountain with the lights on looks like a mess. I mean the tracks criss-cross itself so many times. I mean, I always knew that somehow, from the size of the building and the number of times you curve around in there... but, still kinda neat to see it.

Yea, we were shocked too...I was thinking of writing a letter to Disney because the magic of Space Mountain is now gone!

I wanted to post this yesterday, but the DIS was slow for me, and I gave up!

I agree....SM does look a mess! Like a storage area for parts.... but, that's okay...I'd still ride. It's a rare thing to see a pic of SM with the lights on.

So the parade was taking forever to get there and we really wanted to head to EPCOT. So my bro, father and I hit the monorail and head over to EPCOT. My sis and mom would stay for the parade.

Day 2 (Continued....will it ever end??)

While my sis and mom were watching the parade, we hit EPCOT. We got the wheelchair and since we were just waiting around, my brother and I decided to hop on Spaceship Earth. Well, the figures and things were not a big deal to me...I mean they were cute and all, but what really annoyed me was the narration. First, they get rid of Walter Cronkite, then Jeremy Irons, now its Judy Dench.

So by the time we had gotten off, my mom and sis were there and had taken a few pics...

So we begin to walk around, and start looking around the place. We had never been during the Flower Festival, and we noticed that they had turned the pavilion that had Body Wars in it was now the Flower Garden place. Well, if anyone here recalls, the building is higher up and the ramp is kinda steep. My brother had to do a racing start with my father to get him up the hill! :laugh3:

When we walked in, we saw Daisy!

So we looked around, got something to drink, and headed out.

On to Imagination!

I'm still upset about the changes here!! I like that they brought back Figment into it, but it still isn't the same without the Dream Finder.

When we got to the gift shop, I saw the cutest sweatshirt with Figment and it said "since 1982" (my birth year!). My mom asked if I had wanted it, but it was expensive and I said I would think about it. Well, we never got back there and now I regret not getting it

Day 2 Continued (will this day ever end?? :cutiepie: )

So we head around EPCOT...hitting Mission Space.

Here we are playing that game after Mission Space.

So we get to Nemo!

So we decide to check out Nemo...love the ride, so cute! We then proceed to the aquarium and look around. Unfortunately, the manatees were resting so we didn't see them. We saw a dolphin swimming about (no pics sorry!) and then walked over to the largest fish tank.

While we were over there, a CM came over and began talking to us about the rays, turtles, and fish. He asked us all sorts of questions, where we were from, what had we seen at EPCOT so far. Then he asked us if we liked to swim and if we had ever snorkeled. Thinking is was a little odd, I said "Yea, we actually are lifeguards and former college swimmers. We also went snorkeling with the manatees over on the West Coast years ago."

He then said, how would you like to go swimming now? Ummmm.....ok. He told us to come with him and led us to a door that I had never seen before and down this hallway. He brought us to these back tanks and said that if we wanted, we could go snorkeling in one of the private tanks. My heart was soaring! Are you kidding??? He said that they had special suits for us and that we could take as many pictures as we wanted. So we spent about a half an hour in the water and got these really cool pics!!!!

Ok none of that actually happened, we got those pics from the small tanks that are on the second floor.

But wouldn't that have been awesome!

Okay, that was mean. With the whole Year of a Million Dreams (part two) thing, I totally fell for the snorkeling story.

Great pics. I agree on the Figment ride. If they would rip it all out and put it back exactly the way it was to begin with, I'd be happy. If they would at least try to recapture the feel of the original ride, I'd be happy.

Hi Y'all!!!

Sorry, have been MIA for a while...been pretty busy and just crazy tired after work and whatnot. I know, I know, I'm a bad homie

Anyway, yeah, so since Katie took all my pics, I will not be doing a trippie, sorry!

But I do appreciate all of the compliments about the pictures. I really enjoy taking them and can easily take tons! Hmmmm...gotta dress up as Mickey for the wedding, now I'll be a photographer there too. Oh, and yeah, the maid of honor! LOL

Anyway, thanks for all of the compliments, I will try to pop back in more often!

And Barb, yes I do get some weird looks when I'm taking pictures of the food, but hey, it was all for the DIS.

Day 3

So we decide this is going to be our day "off". We get up, get dressed and decide to visit our neighbors.

Just kidding...

So we tool around Vistana and then we decide to go to CiCi's for lunch. "The endless pizza, pasta, salad, and dessert buffet."

Delish!

Dessert.....yummy!

After, we went shopping (Walmart, Target, Prime Outlets) you know, the important places!

Next up: Old Town! Ever been?

Let's see, there was Buffalo chicken pizza, macaroni pizza, taco pizza, and much more! Great place to eat!
