Spring break and grad. week in U.S.?

Hello,

I wondered if someone could tell me when the Spring break is and Grad week in the U.S.? I am visiting from U.K. for 2 weeks arriving on 21st April and someone told me that it clashes with some holidays and the parks will be busy.

I have also been reading some reports of terrible weather in Florida at the moment, thunderstorms, heavy rain and tornados. Is this usual for this time of year? I am wondering what sort of clothes to pack.

My son is in college and he and most of his friends had spring break various weeks during the last 3 weeks. My daughter is in 8th grade and will have spring break next week. I think by the middle of April most schools have already had spring break. Debby

Grad week is that week. I don't know the specific days, but I neglected to check for that event in particular when I booked for April 25-May 2. Oh well, crowded or not, we are still going!!!

Grad nights are April 22,23,29 and 30.

NYC public schools, some Long Island and NJ school systems, all have spring break the week of April 25-29.

My son and I will be there April 22-30.
