Spring 2024

I was hoping for an interesting pacific coastal after the Hawaii cruise, but a 4-night with 3 days at sea??? Really??

We might have to move our fall 2023 cruise to spring 2024 so I was looking at what is going to be available in spring 2024 and I’m not excited about any of them and the prices seem high (I’ve never booked a spring cruise so maybe they are always are a lot higher than Sept/October cruises).

I was hoping for an 8 night caribbean cruise (I fell in love with that extra night over a 7 night this past fall) or one with St. Maarten. I prefer St. Maarten over St. Thomas. I was also hoping for a longer cruise on a ship other than the Fantasy since that’s the one we’ve been on already. I was thinking of doing B2B to make a 7 night cruise but I don’t really want to repeat Naussa and feel like one day is wasted because of debarkation/embarkation to go from cruise one to cruise 2 and I want to maximize the time we are on the cruise so not sure what we will do if we have to switch to Spring 2024. I know we will have a blast on whatever Disney ship we choose, I was just hoping for a bit longer cruise and at least a port that isn’t usual or I haven’t been to before (for cruise we have booked for September 2023 we have St. Marteen, Puerto Rico and Castaway Cay, I love St. Marteen and Castaway Cay and never been to Puerto Rico so I like the itinerary even if it is only 7 night and on Fantasy again).

we are tied to the march 24/25 week because of teachers spring break in MIchigan. for 3 years in a row, this same 7 day has been western and again it's western.. the Eastern is March 30 week on fantasy.
so we are not doing western 3 years in a row in the same western.
so our choice is doing the Wonder mar 23-30 out of San Diego
or we are now looking at Eastern on the new Royal Icon of the seas. Our son is now 14..doesn't like change so have to see if he would do the Royal.
although after traveling on Wonder out of galveston and magic in europe..if it's not port canaveral - then it's always a different crowd of people. So that's a difference too.

I'm in the same boat (or not, I suppose) as everyone else...our 10% discount placeholder expires at the end of June 2024 and we were hoping to use it during spring break. Unfortunately, none of the cruises looked interesting and we decided to waive off. Hopefully there's a good one during a narrow window in mid-June, otherwise we'll have to sail on Royal Caribbean for the first time.
