I called today and was also told it could be two weeks. I interviewed the very first day, which means they're telling me I won't hear till more than a month and a half after I interviewed/faxed. Doesn't that seem a little ridiculous to anyone else?

it seems REALLY ridiculous. lol I don't understand how some people who applied in the beginning still aren't hearing back from them. I just called and the man told me that they were running a little behind because they were recieving so many applications. Maybe its because I applied at DLR? i heard that there's a lot more limited availability because of the housing situation but idk for sure.

ha ive been trying to figure out a pattern... like recruiters, states people live in (time the letters take to get to them), when they applied....ect

i think the recruiter has ALOT (if not all) to do with the time it takes....Michelle better get her booty working on my letter! thurs will be one month from my interview

for the fall 08 i applied the end of march after the presentation at my college.. i meant to say that i put in a call to rebecca not michelle..woops...i sent in my application the first day and scheduled my interview for the second day of them 8/26/08. i just think that if i have to wait til the latest of december i am unable to apply to any school to transfer by then because all the deadlines for applying for spring 09 is november 1st which doesnt help me..so if worse comes to worse i have to get a full time job til i transfer in fall 09....good luck to everyone

I don't know who my recruiter is... They haven't given me any of that kind of information. Maybe because its at DLR? idk?

i just emailed disney recruiting and then michelle emailed me back so i think you can get questions answered that way. they are much more helpful than just calling the college program number.

well i orginally emailed recruiting because of a restricted rehire status and it was cleared up weeks ago thank you. then since it has now been four weeks and i know they have all my stuff i emailed her tonight to see what was up with the delay. i got a response that said she is out of the office until tomorrow so im guessing ill get a response on wednesday. if i dont have my letter tomorrow im callling recruiting. i personally need a letter soon because i graduate in dec and if im not going to disney i need to make other plans.

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Seriously, in 2006, I applied on day one and was one of the first interviews. I was processed within 4 days...So, literallly like the day my papers arrived at recruiting(we didn't fax then...). I got a call because the letters were going to take so long, but this? It seems they haven't even looked at the paperwork yet...

I can't believe they are soooooo far behind already. I know it is agony, but don't wory folks...

About that strange letter--definitely call them. It can't hurt! Maybe you're recruiter knows they're incredibly behind and just wanted to send out something?

I emailed Christy (my recruiter). She got back to me today saying that my application has been processed and a decision has been made so I should see an answer in the next week. Fingers crossed that it's an acceptance

I'm really quite pissed at this point, to be honest. I know they have tons of applications to get through, but it's been a month since my interview now. Like Julie, I have things I need to get worked out if for some reason I wasn't to get into the program. It's nearly October, and I have so many things to figure it whether or not I get in. I'm going to email Michelle tomorrow if it doesn't come... I'm going home for the weekend on Friday-Tuesday... I guarantee I'll get a letter then, when I'm not here, of course.

Hey guys it seems like I'm in the same situation as everybody else. I emailed Michelle today and asked her what my status was, she was very nice about it, but the bottom line is she said another 2-3 weeks. She also said that she looked at my interview information yesterday. So I wonder what that means. Congrats to everyone that knows they got in. Meanwhile it looks like 2 more miserable weeks for the rest of us. Im praying for all of us.
