spring 2009

I should add that I'm in the spring advantage and my arrival date is Jan 21-Aug 7th I believe. I can login and get the other advantage dates.

So excited for everyone to start getting letters! Monday will be my four week mark (I think--Lord, that sounds like a long time ago!) so I hope to hear soon. If anyone could get us the SA dats that'd be awesome.

add me to the list thats wondering about SA dates too:)

This is so exciting that everyone is getting accepted. I interviewed on the first day, and still no letter for me, but im guessing it will come sometime next week... :)

Monday will mark 4 weeks from the interview and the 3rd week from the "thanks for interviewing" and "we got your apps" email... and the 1st week after emailing my recruiter and her telling me i should hear something 'within 2 weeks and if not to call her" email:)

soooooo much waiting:goodvibes

So wait do we get to pick dates? I was sort of under the impression that we just got dates, but it seems like everyone is able to choose. I'm doing SA by the way if that makes a difference. . .

Yes. There are several sets of dates for each Spring and Spring Advantage (around 3-4 dates).

I had no idea you got to choose your dates! I'm definately going to go as soon as possible

you are able to pick dates based on availability. They start with 4 dates and as they fill, the remove them. It is updated in realtime so when you get your letter, it's best to get on and accept and choose your dates asap!

I haven't had time to log back in and get the other dates. I do remember that the last one was 2/2/08 for an arrival date.

Hey Zulemara, fancy meeting you over here!

My DS is a junior at UCF in Hospitality Management and wants to apply for the Internship program for Spring semester. They are not doing a presentation at his campus so from what I gather, he just needs to do the e-presentation and then schedule an interview. Any other tips you can give? I'm having him get this done this week as he's been procrastinating!

Thanks,
BobK/Orlando

Oh yeah. They wouldn't be able to have everyone check in on the same date- it would be crazy! So they have a few to choose from.

I know I'm not the one you directed the question to but maybe I can help. I'm an engineering sophomore at UCF who also plans on doing the Spring program. No we're not having a presentation this semester (probably since Disney is already coming a few times to have character auditions) so I did the e-presentation. I suggest he talk to his advisor about the program after he gets in so he can get his internship credit for it. I'm assuming since he's a junior he's already doing classes at Rosen. This is very close to Disney so after the CP it should be super easy for him to get another higher up internship with the company.

Razzery.....thank you very much.....had wondered how you get the credit. Get accepted first, then notify his advisor.

Frazzle.....dear son, dear daughter, dear wife, dear husband. Why are they so dear, I don't know!

OHhhhh, I'm getting so anxious waiting for my letter. lol

congrats to everyone thats gotten it already. :)

i know the S= son D=Daughter W=wife and H= husband.... i was told once upon a time that the 1st D stood for Disney, but i could be wrong:)

Yeah you're right with that. It originally started on other boards where people meant dear husband, dear daughter... and then disney boards took it over and made it disney son disney daughter disney husband.

Some of the advisors down here don't know too much about the program so he should probably print out some information from the site to show them. Also if he is taking any classes make sure he prints out the syllabus.
