A while back I found a small printable spreadsheet to keep track of your dining credits. You just marked off what you used and it said how much you had left. Well now that I need it I can't find where I saw it:rolleyes: . Does this sound familiary to anyone????

I spoke to soon - I found it. If anyone is interested it's here

looks like it's one of those sites we're not allowed to post.

We used the DDP for 5 adults this xmas week and really found it very easy to keep track of your credits. Each time you use them you are given the remaining total at the bottom of your receipt. At the end of each day, we kept the last reciept for each type of credit and everyone knew where we started the following day. It was very accurate and made it a breeze. I just don't think you need a spreadsheet to handle.

My problem is that DH and DS usually "lose" the receipt with the totals on it. This sheet has the number of credits and as they are used I will just cross them off.

Someone emailed me one last year I used it to make my plans but that was it. I just updated it for the separation of child/adult so that I could take it with me to keep track for counter service incase they do get around to separating them.

Also too we have another family staying with us in a 2 bedroom unit at OKW. All of our credits will be on the one account. I want to keep track of our credits.

Every time you purchase food -- counter service or table service -- you will receive a receipt with your updated credits listed on it. Also, you can go to Guest Services at your resort and they will give you a print out showing all of the credits you have used and where you used them.

But it will have the total credits for the room on the receipt. We are gettng a 2 bedroom at OKW with another family (who will also be on the dining plan with us). I want to know what our credits are. The receipt will have the combined credits for both families.

As far as I have read in the past, both rooms with get their own credits -- they won't be combined.

that's exactly right. I am a family of 5 (mom and 4 kids) and we always need two rooms. The rooms are seperated with the credits. It drove me nuts keeping track. But we did it. We're going back in August, and this time not only are the credits split, but they made me book it as two rooms, two different ressie numbers and I had to pay 200.00 deposit...twice!! They say its because some of my children are over 18. (apparantely when you're over 18 you're an adult.........they should live in this house!! LOL)

That is correct - it is 1 ressie in a 2 bedroom unit. So the dining plan should all be together.

I don't know if this helps but, when we went there were four of us staying 10 nights. I kept a small note book with me at all times, in it I had each days schedule, ADRs w/confirmation numbers, park hours, and other important info. I also kept track of my credits like this, on one page I wrote "Counter Service" under it I just drew 40 circles (the total number of credits we had). Every time we would stop to eat I would just take a second to fill in the amount of credits we used up (you know just like when we were kids taking tests). It was very simple but worked great. Every now and then I would check my count with a reciept to confirm everything was correct.

Yep, me too. We have 4 children. The oldest will be 19 when we go. She and her 17 year old sister are sharing a room. Me, DH, DD13 and DS11 are in the other room. It sure does crank the price up exponentially when you have two rooms! But even so, we're staying at POP and 2 rooms there was still much cheaper than a family suite anywhere else.

I have never done the DDP before. I assume that each person gets 1 TS, 1 CS and 1 snack credit for each night we're there. Since we are not planning on splitting up to eat, and I have all our ADR's in place, I shouldn't have any trouble keeping track of credits.
