We are travelling in June on JetBlue, and it's very vague whether or not you can take the spray sunscreen in your carry-on?? Has anyone done this before? We'd really like to only do carry on's and no checked bags for this trip, but NEED to have sunscreen.

No spray in carry on unless it fits the 3-1-1 rule. 3 ounces or less

JetBlue doesn't care one way or the other.

The TSA does. See www.tsa.gov for specific information, but as shoes99 states, each applicable container (liquid, gel, paste, aerosol, etc.) needs to be three* ounces or less; all such containers need to fit into a one-quart clear zipper bag; and each passenger is allowed one such bag in their carry-on luggage.

It IS possible to get spray-on sunscreen in small enough containers based on volume, but they tend to be tall/long and narrow.

It may be possible to purchase this product at the airport, either once through security or on arrival at MCO. Disney does sell spray-on sunscreen. In either case, sure it's more expensive than at home - but it's available.

*Because most of the world operates on the metric system, the actual maximum size is 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters.

Can I check bags with spray sunscreen?? Not sure if this caused a problem.
Thanks,
Kathleen

You can check bags with spray sunscreen. But you cannot carry it though security unless it is 3.4 ounces or less and in your quart baggie.

Buy it when you get there if you really want to do only carryons - it may be a bit more expensive at Disney than it might be in a big store at home, but they do sell it. Be aware, though, that you can't bring the bottle home if you're only doing carryons then.

CVS sells 3 oz bottles of spray sunscreen. They are quite large for 3 oz. bottles and will take up most of your baggie - and the TSA screener usually wants to look at it to check the size. They only last about two or three days when only used on one person. For any trip longer than that you'd need more.
