Someone mentioned the sports deck in a post about college-age kids below.

How is the sports deck overall? My boyfriend and I (31 and 25) are pretty athletic, and volleyball in particular is a favorite for both of us. Are there a lot of games? A lot of people who like to play? What else is there?

All I ever saw were young (10-12 year olds) playing basketball and only a couple of kids. I don't know about volleyball---didn't see a net, but then again, I'm not into sports so I wasn't really noticing what was going on there.

I have done two cruises, and have not seen volleyball played. I would go up early in the morning and shoot baskets and there would be one or two other people there. If you are sailing, the wind really takes hold of the ball as soon as it gets higher that the protective glass. The only way volleyball could be played would be in port, and I still think they would lose too many balls.

Although the sports deck is mainly for basketball and there is a jogging track and shuffleboard on deck 4, you will be able to play volleyball on Castaway Cay. In addition, you will want to check out the Grouper Pavillion/Castaway Jo's, which features a variety of free games, including basketball tosses, a football toss, pool, foosball, etc. We have photos of the Castaway Jo's area on our website.

There are also ping-pong tables on the ship, but that can also be quite difficult due to the wind- on the plus side chasing the ball all over the deck and back is a great way to get exercise! :D
