I'm looking for a really good, supportive sports bra for high impact workout with lots of jumping. I've seen some as high as $50! I was hoping to spend somewhere in the $20's or less. Ideas?

If you're near teh outlets, go to the Jockey store. I get Champion sports bras there in the $20-30 range.

I have tried lots of sports bras- from Champion to Lululemon.
My favorites are my Lululemon (pricey) and North Face Bounce be Gone (around $30).

Kinda depends on your size what will work for you. I'm a 36D

I use a Target C9 bra...but one that has adjustable back slot, like a regular bra. It connects above this, then a little peephole, then the standard issue three set of eyes/hooks. I tried to look it up online, but they only showed the fronts...and they all look the same. Probably around $20 with tax.

I have tried so many, and any of the less expensive bras did not work. There is a Title 9 catalog. It states what size for moderate to high impact it can "handle." I found it was worth the money to just buy from them, versus buying and trying all kinds of other bras.

Good luck though, it would be great if you can find a less expensive bra that works!

The Target bra looks nice, but I can tell by looking at it, that it would no hold my 42 Ds in place.

I'm a 36 D as well. I should have mentioned that. It does make it more of a challenge to control the bounce : )

I have been in search of a sports bra for DD who is also a 36d, what size do you wear in the North Face bounce be gone?

Love the moving comfort Maia or Fiona sports bras. I run and where a 36 dd. Both hold everything in place. I find the Maia is more attractive and better for long distance running. The are both back clasp bras with adjustable straps. The Maia is an underwire one. Check amazon for prices. I see a Fiona going for $26.13 in a 36 dd right now.

I mean 36 d. I often try bras on at dicks sporting goods and then order them online from amazon.

I wear a large. I got mine at REI.

I've tried a bunch of different bras, the Bounce Be Gone is definitely my go to sports bra.

Thanks, must be good cause it seems to be sold out online. I'll have to check the Rei store near me.

Thanks for the great advice. Bounce be gone seems very promising

I love the Moving Comfort Maia. I had a 34D and when I ran the Princess half I was pregnant so I got a bigger size of 36DD. I absolutely adore it. It's so comfortable and is the first bra I've had that actually controls everything while letting me still breath. I've tried champion and a couple others. I bought mine on amazon for $27.

Sports Authority has the Under Armour Sports Bra but it wasn't cheap $50.
My DD says it does a good job.

DD likes the Danskin sports bras. You can get them at Walmart. Last time she needed new ones, she couldn't find her 'faves' in the store, but they had them online. Also, she prefers them a cup size smaller then her everyday bras.

They are a bit pricier, but the best sports bra I have found for larger sizes is the Enell bra.

I second the poster who recomended the outlet store for the Champion. I am a 36DD and I love them. The Champion ones that I use have the regular bra closure in the back and adjustable straps. (I am short too). They hold everything up with no bounce at all. I have tried some that just squash everything down and I don't like those at all cause everything underneath gets hot and sweaty.:faint:
