I don’t know how old you are, but I did the interval thing in my mid 40s. I actually liked it.I'm a total newbie, I'm doing an interval run/walk thing to see if I even like it. My knees aren't quite sure we're going to keep it up, I probably should've tried this 20 years ago![]()
SHEFIT is the ticket. Everything about is adjustable. I am large up top but have a tiny rib cage and no shoulders. It is near impossible to find bras (especially sports bras) for that scenario but these you can adjust to exactly how you want them. I don’t run but they’ve served me well for cardio with plyo moves.I might have to give this SHEFIT a try. I have yet to find a sports bra that holds the girls in place while running/jumping.
That was one of the reasons I loved my Shefit. It zips in the front, has 2 hook and eye closures (which help when zipping up) and two cloth parts that you pull over the zipper parts which keep it from unzipping (IME). It took me a moment to put it on just because I wasn't used to front zip but getting it off is a breeze and when you're sweaty and icky struggling with getting a bra (any bra) off is so frustrating. I'd say front zip if you get the right support is a good way to go (whichever brand you get).I prefer my Victoria Secret maximum support front zip sports bra when running.
I have a short torso so straps have always been an issue for me (including normal bras). Some sports bras came with adjustable straps but they were usually so flimsy and the support was never good for me because there was usually no structure to the sports bra despite marketing as high impact and larger sizing (for bustier girls). I remember reading reviews for Shefit that people felt velcro just wouldn't hold up but it sure has, the velcro doesn't budge but is easy to adjust, is a thick one (so they didn't skimp on it) and hasn't lost its strength through washing (although 90% of the time I hand wash mine and then every now and then use a lingerie bag {haven't used the one they sent with it because I have my own} for the washer) and then lay flat to dry.SHEFIT is the ticket. Oh those thin straps SMH. Seriously? What are we supposed to do with those?I have a short torso so straps have always been an issue for me (including normal bras).
