That's where I go. I find it much better than one of those lower-end "salons." Men's cuts are $13, boys $10. They do women's hair too, but I rarely see a women in there. One of the barbers is a woman; I think she's the owner's wife or partner.

The quality of a chain place is going to be totally random, and will depend on the skill of the cutter. I've gotten good results at one Supercuts location, and lousy results at another (had to use some sort of gel to cut and it smelled like the stuff for days).

Our local barber shop keeps girly magazines in the waiting room. My boys and DH don't go there.

Personally, I prefer Great Clips (another chain haircut place) to Sport Clips. We tried several Sport Clips, and with DH, DS8, and DS9 we never got out of there in less than 1.5 hours. Thats a long time for kids to wait patiently. At Great Clips we're usually in and out in 20 minutes, because they keep enough stylists on hand to start right away.

My husband and son go to Sport Clips and really like it. However the same lady cuts their hair every time and it's the same lady that used to cut their hair at Great Clips so I'm sure that has something to do with it
