Spooks Series 5 Discussion Thread (Some Spoilerage)

Just kidding; These Discussion Threads are down to everyone on the boards posting here; I just make the first page.

Anyway, getting back onto topic.. What do you think the new girl will be like? I hope she's funny; we need more funny people to liven things up and take away some of the sadness that Ros is giving..

I think Ros maybe doing a Colin Baker, in the sense that the creators are starting off on a bad foot and then gradually peeling bits away to find a good thing inside her. Problem is, when they did it with Colin Baker he got Doctor Who onto the road to cancellation in 4 and 1/2 story arcs!

Thank god we still have Adam, Zaf, Harry and Jo to keep things going!!

I got through both episodes last night; I couldn't wait for my brother any longer!! I Just HAD to see it; although I will probably have to wait a week till I can fully discuss what happened with everyone though..

I didn't really think of them as evil much; I just thought that they should have the benefit of the doubt first.. Guess that's the kind of guy I am huh?

I would like to point out that Malcolm has become rather like Q in James Bond from the things he did in Part 1; it's just so funny!! I also thought at the end with the suicide bomber that wasn't a bomber it reminded me of another episode from series 1 or 2 where a young boy did the same thing; only difference is that the man got blown up when he tried to stop him..

Thought the Ros thing was so funny, despite the fact I still think she's evil..

I cannot BELIEVE they killed off Sally in her second episode!! Just how rude! She would of made such a nice spook too.. I just hope they can find a good replacement for Ruth soon though; it's getting rather empty in

I am just glad that they got rid of the evil dude; he really started to bug me how evil he was! Also, I had mixed emotions about the thought of Ros getting blown up; it's sort of a Love to Hate something thing huh?

Yup; it is the 2nd part. I'd watch the next one but after watching Torchwood late last night I think I may need an earlier night..

I'm annoyed!!! We set our DVD recorder last night to record tonight's part 2 as we were going out, which is some task for us not being very techy!! But, came back in and we had forgotten to change the Sky channel off what we were watching, so it has recorded the wrong station!! Why oh why can't we get these things right! I can't tell you all the different things we have done wrong in our attempts to record programmes. Grrr.

I think there are Catch-ups on the BBC site, but I have no idea how long the clip last for.. is it 1 hour 53 minutes or 1 minute 53 seconds?

It appears to have most of the episode on it anyway...

Well I read the synopsis on the BBC website but couldn't be bothered to download the thingy to be able to watch the video clip. It would have taken 109 mins I think just to download! I think I got the gist, but I have to say I wish I could have seen it.

I saw it last night, and it was so good!! I loved it all the way through..

It's sad that Adam was having a hard time in that episode, and as sad enough as it is to say it, I reckon he will probably end up quitting or making a mistake on a mission and dieing (the person who plays Adam did say he wanted to move on ~ I wonder if he will do watch Tom did and do it until Series 6 part 1 or something like that..)

Great thing to get scared on, espicially since it was so close to halloween.

It was a bit on the edge of your seat stuff! Perhaps Adam will just leave because of his son - boring I know, but surely they can't kill everybody off or send them to unknown country. Perhaps all the ex spooks are all in one place somewhere!

I think its great how they can kill off the people in it and it still remains a great program.
