Spoodles Take out Pizza?

How is this? I saw a pic on the food thread and it looked good!

I've heard such horrible things about WDW pizza-is this one as good as it looks?

We ordered a whole pie and brought it back to our room at BWI. It was pretty good! Now, that's saying a lot since most CS and to-go type pizza at WDW is blech!

Still not like pizza at home, but I think it's a good choice for pizza.

(PS - Broadway Bakery sells awesome sandwiches!).

We ate there in December and really enjoyed it. We each got a piece of pizza and sat on a bench on the boardwalk. It really was good pizza and a very relaxing evening. We did eat at Spoodles 2 days later and my DD ordered the pizza there and it was inedible (don't know if they cooked it in the same ovens or in the actual restaurant).

I would highly recommend giving the window a try though.

Like all of the other pizza in WDW, it's edible. It's not good by good pizza standards. Too much dough, chewy, not crisp, too much sauce and too much cheese.

My husband is a pizza lover. He claims that they changed the sauce a few years back so it's not quite as good. I don't see the difference myself. I think it's good, the slices are a nice size and the atmosphere of eating it there on the boardwalk is priceless.

They used to yell your name out the window for pickup but I'm happy to say they have buzzers now for when your order is ready.

We think that the pizza it pretty yummy. Never had a problem with it. It is better than what you will find around the rest of the world

We ordered a pizza when we stayed at BC last fall. We did not like it! Very thick crust, chewy, not much cheese, bland. A frozen pizza would have been better.
