I would like to try spoodles but I'm worried it will be too much of a hassle to get there and back from MGM. Does anyone know how long it will take us to get there. Is spoodles worth the going back and forth? Also if we choose Spoodles what would be a good time to make the AR for? TIA for any advise

The easiest way to get there is go out of MGM, turn lrft and take the boat to Boardwalk. It lets you out almost directly in front of Spoodles.

Unless you just miss a boat, it should be about 20 minutes. I think it is worth it.

I would suggest reserving for the time you normally eat dinner. If the park closes at 8:00 or earlier I would suggest making the reservation for about 1/2 hour after park closing.

If you take the boat from the Studios it will take you about 10-15 minutes from the time the boat leaves the Studios dock if you get off at the first stop (Swan) and walk to Spoodles from the Swan.

Or you can walk from the Studios to Spoodles. I can't tell you how long that would take because I don't know how fast you walk! We are very fast walkers and it takes us about 15-20 minutes from the front gate of the Studios.

I agree with all posters so far. The boat, will get you there in 20 minutes or so - it stops at the Swan/Dolphin and BC/YC before going to the Boardwalk. But it's a nice relaxing ride.

If you are a walker, though, you could probably do it faster by walking from MGM. And you can definitely beat the boat from the Swan/Dophin to the Boardwalk if you get off at the Swan and walk from there, even at a normal pace.

I haven't tried Spoodles but, have taken the boat many times...it's a nice relaxing ride IMO. I think the hassle would be worth it for a good sit down meal....we never have found the ts restaurants at MGM to be that good. Mama Melrose's has been our only really good experience. :wave2:

Take the boat or walk........20 minutes

Make sure you try the sangria! By the pitcher!

O'kay well I ordered a glass because I wasn't sure if I would like it, took one sip and asked the waitress if I could change the order to a pitcher.

A pitcher was a much better deal.
