Spoodles or Flying Fish

Flying Fish hands down. But they are like comparing apples to oranges. Go to www.ourlaughingplace.com for pics & menus or www.allearsnet.com.

I must say that when we went to Spoodles we thought it was a Tappas place like Cafe Tu Tu Tango, which we love. And it was not.

THo it's been awhile since we've done Spoodles, we do FF quite frequently. In my opinion it has by far a better menu. Service is always good also.

Spoodles is one of our long time favorite restarants at WDW. We eat there every trip. The menu used to have more tapas, but from what I have heard, people just didn't get the concept of sharing the dishes. The menu on allearsnet.com is a bit out of date, fyi.

We ate at Flying Fish for the first time this trip. It was one of our favoirte meals. We will be going back again and again. The above poster was right in saying it is like apples and oranges. We will not choose between them, but enjoy both!

I agree they are very different restaurants. I go much more to Spoodles because I like the menu better and I love the tappas and pasta etc. I also enjoy the FF but I tend to go there when we are looking for a very nice night out.FF is nice if you want a quiet night out too. Spoodles is busier and noiser( but I don't come to Disney without eating here)!

Flying Fish - awesome food and service.

For me, these are two different meals that serve different purposes. I love Spoodles because we can have a good, fun, tapas meal with great service and not spend too much (around $65 for two adults, including alcoholic drinks and desserts). Flying Fish is more of a splurge for us- excellent food and service, but we won't go if we don't have approx. $85-100 for the meal so we can have everything we want (including a single malt scotch for Bender and the banana's napoleon for myself!)
