I've already made ADRs for our May trip. We are eating at several old favorites but are adding a few new stops. I booked at PT but am now second guessing my choice. My youngest two are very shy and one of them is a very picky eater (no veggies). Will this restaurant be too much for them? I'm thinking of switching to Spoodles. Any opinions?

Prime Time is really pushy about eating veggies! We had a waiter named Jeff who brought my Aunt's greenbeans back to our table covered in whipped cream and sprinkles after she refused to eat them the first time. :lmao: It's a funny place but it might be to much. The waiters ignored my younger three-year-old sis though... and my nine-year-old sis too... How old are your kids?
Don't know about spoodles though... We haven't been there on a vacation yet. Isn't that the Greek place?

Why don't you tell her about your "girlfriend" from the next table? ;) :lmao:

And, he sized dd9 up pretty well and razzed her a bit too.

jjatwdw - The "family" seem to know if you are not into the teasing and will not push it. Or, they will enlist your help in teasing the others at the table. It was really a lot of fun. My sil got in trouble for tattling that my son (KingdomKeepers21 up there) had his elbows on the table. She had to sing I'm a Little Teapot. He also made sure DD3 had stuff to occupy her. :)

We've had excellent service at PT Cafe. No one has been pushy & I think the servers can read the group really well. I think the food might be more "friendly" for kids than Spoodles.

We have both planned for our next trip. Can't wait! :goodvibes

I was trying to make this very same decision....I'd booked 50's PT...but then started second guessing it. Wondering if everyone would be into the "fun" that could happen.

After looking into Spoodles...I went ahead and made a late ADR for dinner there AND added a lunch reservations at Sci-Fi. I'm planning on canceling the 50's PT resse altogether. After checking out the Spoodles menu I think it sounds super yummy...and they have a GREAT kids menu listed with LOTS of diffrent choices...(hopefully they haven't changed the kids menu ;) ). I'm also thinking the lunch menu at Sci-fi looks good.

Make sure your menu's are up to date, many restaruants have recently changed offerings on their menu's. Keep in mind that the web sites you are getting this information from are "unofficial"

Either way, you'll be fine with spoodles (Calamari is a must!) and Sci Fi. (best milk shakes at WDW)

Prime Time is the worst place to eat at WDW. Go Spoodles

I think this is the new menu at Spoodles

I must say, we did not enjoy Spoodles last June. I felt it was a very limited menu. The atmosphere was nice and the servers pleasant, but none of us really cared for the food - DH, DD12, and brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece 17.
