We are trying to pick a Boardwalk restaurant to have dinner, The menu on this website seems really limited. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks Gina

Gina,
Yes, the menu appears to have been scaled down, especially from many years ago. But, if you compare the BW eateries (and this is IMHO only):

Big River is more about beer, less about food and service (at times).
ESPN is a sports bar atmosphere, with pub style food as well.
Flying Fish is a more costly meal, but in a pretty nice atmosphere.

We think Spoodles beats both BR and ESPN for food quality, and is more affordable than FF. If nothing appeals to you on the menu, then you should consider the other options, but even with the limited menu we have always been able to find things to choose from.

The menu works for my family, not sure about my friends kids. We have never eaten at Boardwalk so I wanted to try something there. Flying Fish is out since that is two choices on the dining plan. Thank you for the info!! I appreciate the help.

I have eaten at Spoodles with my three boys and they loved it. While the menu may seem limited, the options were enough that everyone found something they liked. Also, they were able to make pasta and butter no problem. We are looking forward to eating there again this year.

We love Spoodles, DS(16) said it was one of his favorite meals of our last trip. Since FF isn't an option for you I would definitely give Spoodles a shot.

We ate there in Feb and it was good, so returned late April to the new menu and didn't care for the selections (or lack of selections). The food wasn't bad, we just don't like the choices. We'll go back when the menu changes again in the future to our liking.

Spoodles is one of my FAVORITE restaurants! In fact I have ADR for 2 nights when i go in September. It's super if you have the dining plan. (When we looked at our receipts Spoodles ended up being one of the most expensive places to eat!) I highly recommend it...the Creme Brulee is fantastic!
