This menu really appeals to me as there is something everything in the family will eat. What's it like ? is it better food than Alfredo's ?

I haven't eaten at ALfredo's in couple of years but we just got back from WDW on 4/4. We ate at Spoodles one night and loved it. DH had the chicken and I had the salmon. We had an appetizer and everything was delicious. How old are your children? There were several families with children. I really enjoyed it. We had dinner at 6PM. It was a cool night so they had the doors open to the boardwalk. It was a beautiful sight.

I have not been there myself, but a friend tried it last week. She and her family LOVED it!!! She has gone on, and on, and on about it... I am even thinking of re-working my ADRs to include it on our trip.

The kids are 2 and 7. They LOVED the flat-bread (pizza), dessert, everything! The boys both got the P,B and J - triple decker!!! She said that the scallop add-on with the steak was amazing!

We loved it.
The seafood stew was wonderful. If you hate spice though, don't get it. Othewise it has my suggestion.
The NY strip was great too as was both pastas. They have a great kid's menu.
The shrimp appetizer was a tiny portion. So if you're paying out of your pocket and just ordering an appetizer for the family, I suggest the mediterranean dips as the shrimp won't take you very far. But if you're on the plan, go ahead and do the shrimp if you want. The meal's big enough that the small appetizer didn't really affect me. I got the scallop add on with the steak. Yummmmm.

Spoodles is a place where you can get out under $100 for a family of 4 easily. But be careful, you can really run it up there as well and not realize you're doing it. We ran up $250 on the meal plan

Well, I like Alfredo's too, but I don't think I could compare the 2 menus. Alfredo's menu is more limited.
But I really enjoyed Spoodles when we went. Everything I had was really good! I had salmon for dinner which was great! But if you go the one thing you CAN NOT skip is the flatbread! We got it as an appetizer. That pizza bread was the best I ever had! Well, actually the best is at California Grill but California Grill is in a league of it's own.

But YES, I definitely recommend Spoodles!

My DBF and I ate at Spoodles one night while we were in Disney last month. We had one of the flatbread appetizers, which was absolutely delish, but a little on the small side, so if you have a bunch of people you might wanna order 2 appetizers. DBF had the rigatoni with sausage - he wasn't impressed, and especially didn't like the sausage, so I ate it instead. I had the oak-fired salmon, which was DELICIOUS, especially the veggies that came with it. Wasn't too expensive - appetizer, sodas, and 2 entrees came to about $70 with tip. Overall, it was ok, but I'm not chomping at the bit to get back there on our next trip.
One hint tho - unless you are staying at Boardwalk, consider spending the day you are eating at Spoodles at Epcot. DBF and I went to our resort for a nap in the afternoon, and then to get back to the restaurant had to take the bus to Epcot and run through the whole park to get to the Boardwalk... For 2 people unfamiliar with WDW we had a tougher time finding Spoodles than anywhere else in the whole park.

If you are intrigued by the menu I think you will like the restaurant, we really enjoy it there.

We ate at Spoodles last December and really enjoyed it. We had the rigatoni pasta and the salmon dinners and we enjoyed them both.

Hate to be a downer, but we ate at Spoodles in September and didn't like it at all. The food was just OK. I had the rigatoni, as did my 10 year old, and neither of us liked it at all. It was "dry"....and gummy. Not appealing at all. Our server pretty much stunk too. He spent more time gabbing with the people at the table next to us, than attending to our needs. While I understand he had more than our table, when I say "gabbing", I mean "gabbing"! He pretty much ignored us.

We were pretty disappointed, because we had heard such great reviews on here. We won't be going back anytime soon!

Might I ask what kinds of seafood are in the stew? I'm thinking I'll like it, but I'm always wary when they don't tell you exactly what's in it!

Thanks!
