Spoodles at the BoardWalk???

Hi I have reservations for Spoodles on Sat I would like to know opinions on this restaurant if any one has pics I would apreciate it.

Our family had breakfast there one morning. The staff were VERY friendly and the food was good. It was a nice change of pace from counter service, especially for our in-laws, however, for the price they charge, it wasn't THAT much better than some counter venues (IMO).

Dinner was absolutely fantastic. In fact, we both agreed it was the highlight meal of our two weeks on the dining plan. It was the first ADR to be put on our list for our upcoming trip.

I had dinner and breakfast there in May 2005, Dinner was absolutely great. The best meal of our trip. Breakfast was good too, but dinner was great. We will be missing Spoodles on our next trip in Dec. Maybe I'll change that. I have some pics, I think. I'll look.

I think it is breakfast and dinner only, but am not 100% sure.

We only ate at Spoodles once, in Sept 05. The food was just OK, and the service was awful. The menu has changed since then, so hopefully the food is better. I read so many good reviews before we went there, and we were just so disappointed....it was NOT fabulous to us!

ate there last year, after reading good reports on here, we were very disappointed. food was okay but not great. eating at 9pm all staff were laying tables around us for breakfast and even stacking chairs onto tables! serivce could of been much better and food just seemed a bity kinda re-heated.

If my memory is correct - first pic is the Mediterranean Dips appetizer (warm pita bread with feta cheese dip, 2 kinds of hummus, cucumber yogurt dip, olives 'n nuts), second is Lamb Kefta appetizer, third is NY strip steak with horseradish drizzle and sweet potato fries (looks like we nibbled before taking the picture, oops). The last is the dessert table with each offering, we choose the bottom two; vanilla bean creme brulee for me, and the raspberry chocolate cake thingy for him.

After hearing such great reviews I ate there Dec '06 and was so disappointed. I was solo and got stuck sitting next to a post across from the preparation area. I kept feeling like the waiters were going to drop something on my head as they rushed past me, occasionally bumping into my chair. Food was just OK and service was terrible. When I came back, I again kept reading good reviews and saw the menu had changed, so I decided to give it another chance on my May '07 trip. I thought maybe it was just what I ordered and maybe the waiter I had. Nope! I got stuck at the exact same table, had horrible service, and still didn't like the food. Before I left I already had an ADR there for my Sept '07 trip. As soon as I got back, I called and changed it. By the way, I left almost all my food on my plate my first time there and the waiter didn't even bother to ask why. The second time I was starving so ate quite a bit, but really didn't like it. It was my worst meal of the trip. I'm glad to read that others didn't like, as I was beginning to think it was just me.

The menu has changed alot since your pictures. The steak was good, but is now gone and replaced with beef kabobs. I had them last month and they were too much work to find a piece of meat that was not chewey and fatty. Anyone who goes here because of a great meal you had in the past better take a look at the menu as the selections are very limited. I do like the flatbread appetizers here, but even my hubby had a hard time finding an entree and agreed with me, we'll wait until the next menu change before going again. This is sad for us since we stay at the boardwalk several times a year.

Aubree: I too took it off of my October itinerary after we returned home last month. We have managed to get good service at least.
