We leave on Friday night and I'm getting everything packed...

A few have mentioned cutting up a sponge and soaking the pieces in dish soap so you can wash out your refillable mugs nightly.

How long do the soapy pieces take to dry before I can put them in a ziplock and pack them? I'm not sure I did it correctly!

I first rinsed out the sponge & squeezed the excess water out before cutting it into 8 small pieces (we are there for 7 nights). I put the pieces in a bowl and squirted a ton of dish soap on them to soak up. Will they dry out with that much soap on them, or was I only supposed to put a few drops of soap on each piece?

I have another sponge to cut up if I messed this batch up. LOL! :upsidedow

Thank you! :cheer2:

I used a cutting board and soaked them on both sides. I then left them out overnight and they dried up. I would think that if they were in a bowl they would be overlapping. Maybe not. If you have a plate or a cutting board, try laying them out and leaving them overnight. When you wake up, flip them over and let that side dry out. Good luck!

They are not overlapping in the dish they are in so hopefully they will dry out then. I'm glad I did it today so they have a few days to dry. Thank you!

I pack the disposable baby wash cloths to wash the mugs. I just put them in a zip lock and throw them away when done. Works great!

No problem! I am glad I could help! I am sure they will dry out in plenty of time. Good luck!
