**spoilers*** Lost Season Five **spoilers**

My favorite line: Your buddy with the eyeliner.
We just about fell off the couch last night when Sawyer said that!:lmao:

Sawyer was so sweet, dimples and all (but not with Juliette:crazy2: ).

Another Desmond-less episode.

I just hated that they kept doing the "3 years earlier", "3 years later", "3 years earlier", "3 years later".....STOP!

WHERE ARE ROSE AND BERNARD??????????

Two weeks?? You can't make me wait TWO WEEKS!:scared1: :scared1:

Okay, now I have to get back to the real world.

Could it have been the "key" that Desmond turned in the hatch?

What if the Horace and Amy's baby is Desmond?
The key Desmond used was an actual key.

And I think Desmond is too old to be Horace and Amy's baby. I don't think the baby is anyone of importance. I think he was born just to show us that at one time babies were born on the island. Before this, women were sent off the island to have their babies. So, something happened later that caused all the pregnant women on the island to die.

I'm here real quick - I'm beat and heading for some zzzz's.

Some quick thoughts:

Sawyer calling Richard "eyeliner dude" was perfect!! And yes, that little girl waving must have been Charlotte - I wonder when/if Daniel will go and tell her not to come back to the island. He kept mumbling "I will not" over and over.

Ok, so Horace is the guy in charge, and somehow Sawyer is now head of security. Sine we're in the 1970's, can we assume that at some point Ben will show up on the island as a little boy with his dad? Boy, this is really going to get confusing then!

Sawyer and Juliet - ICK!!! (where's the puking smiley?)

And I'm with you beattyfamily - I don't want Sun and Jin to be on the same island but stuck in different times.

And does anyone know why Lost isn't on next week?

*****

Answer to why Lost will not air next week. I told to the folks at ABC and since our family will be at Disney next week and I didnt want to miss it, they are taking the week off.:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: Sorry couldnt help it!

So was that little girl waving charlette? :goodvibes
Yes, if you listen closely you can hear a woman calling her name.

This now sort of reminds me of the picture Ground Hog Day. Charlotte stated that Daniel was the one who told her that she would die if she came back to the island when she was a little girl.
I loved Daniel saying over and over that he wasn't going to do it. He won't tell Charlotte not to come back, because he wants to change the future--but he knows he'll do it anyway.

I also loved when they asked Daniel if they could interfer with Amy and he said something like, "if it happened, it happened." I thought all of his time travel explanations were nice and simple this episode.

I was confused about the 3 year thing last night. Can someone explain to me?
So, when Locke left, 3 yrs had passed off the island. Locke seemed surprised it was 3 years. Now, when Locke left, 3 yrs passed after that for the Losties, as it kept saying. And it was 3 yrs from the time Locke left to when O6 came back. Does that mean that it was 3 more years for Locke to find the O6 and get them back? That was just a couple days. Or did the timelines equal out or something once Locke left? I know that probably makes no sense, so can someone explain to me?
No, Locke found the O6 right away and within a few days of his return, they were getting on the plane to come back.

I ask that every week - where are Rose and Bernard? :confused3 They were flashing with Sawyer's group, so we assume they're somewhere on the island in the same time frame.

I was reading a discussion about the identity of Horace and Amy's baby on another Lost forum, and someone posted this:

And I can't remember if it was here or on the non-spoiler thread, but someone mentioned that the necklace Amy took off Paul's body looked familiar. Could it have been the "key" that Desmond turned in the hatch?

What if the Horace and Amy's baby is Desmond?

The key is an ahnk and the statue we got to see before the final flash looked a lot like an Egyptian god--maybe even Horace?

Yeah, that's bothering me, too. So when Locke turned the wheel it was something like only 4 DAYS after the O6 left, and he woke up in the desert 3 YEARS in the future, and convinced the O6 to return. And we saw last night that Sawyer et al lived with the Dharma folks on the island for 3 years.

So 3 years have passed for the gang on the island (even though they had to live back in the 1970's) and 3 years have passed for the O6 in the "real" world. BUT IT'S ONLY BEEN 4 DAYS FOR LOCKE! (Ok, add a month or so for him to visit the O6 and try to convince them to go back, before Ben "killed" him.)

Man, this time travel thing is really screwing with my brain!:headache:

If that was true, I think they would have told us the baby's name. But I do agree that his true importance is that he and mom survived.

I think the problem with babies being born on the island was still a problem because Amy was two weeks early and Horace said that she was due to leave the island on the next submarine. So the on island birth will be significant somehow.

As far as Richard not aging because he is catching up I can't go with that. The reason is that if he was at a point in time and went far back in time and is now just catching up then from what time period did he make the initial jump. The reason I say this is because the initial jump would have had to have been prior to 1954. I say that because he has no memory of John Lock during the 1954 encounter when John was skipping through time. If Richard jumped back in time in say 2005 and was just catching up then when John showed up in 1954 he would have remembered him. This is the same as Julliette, Sawyer, Jin and Faraday. They are in 1974 catching up to themselves in 2005 and they retain all their memories of those future periods. That means that if Richard does not age because he is catching up then he would have recollections of Lock, Sawyer and the rest. I think Richard is something else all together.

Fianally, as to where people are well this is the Spoiler thread and so here goes, here's the spoiler....................................................

Don't read if you don't want to know..................................

Lock, Sun, Lapiedus, Ben, and the rest of Aijira airways crash are in 2008 and Sun is the woman that took off with Lapiedus.

We already know that Jack, Kate, and Hurley are in 1977 (1974 plus the annoying three years later per the captions) but also in 1977 is Sayid. He will be found by security in the next new show. Also Jack, Kate, and Hurley will be assimilated into the Dharma initiative as newly arriving recruits to the island, hence the name of the next episode in two weeks "Nameste" or welcome.

I got the impression last night that the only reason Amy was leaving the island to have the baby was because they didn't have a REAL doctor that could deal with any complications that may come up. Example: the breach baby. Not that there was a problem with woman delivering babies like there was in 2004.

I think if there was an issue with woman giving birth on the island then, there would have been alot more people waiting outside for the baby to be born besides Sawyer. There would have been celebrating. JMO

DH noticed this last night - did anybody else? When Sawyer and Juliet were in the kitchen and he gave her the flower - DH asked if it looked like Juliet had a little baby bump. Did anyone else notice this?

And a PP mentioned the Fuselage, so I took a quick look over there. Somebody posted this theory about Horace and Amy's baby: maybe it's Keamy. That person said that it would be justice coming full circle: if the baby is Keamy, then Ben killed Keamy's parents (Horace and Amy) during the purge. Then years later, Keamy comes along and kills Ben's daughter (Alex).

OMG! I did! I was waiting to see it again, to be certain, but the camera never went back to her mis-section. Definitely thought I saw a bump!!

Does anyone remember Juliet saying Richard is old, ancient old? I think it was this season, and when she said it, it struck me as important. It also might explain why he doesn't age, if he's somehow "otherworldly" and isn't hmm, human?!?

I love this show, and last night's episode was great! Loved seeing little Charlotte skipping along, knowing Daniel was freaking out to see her. What I can't make sense of for him is, who was the woman he loved in Cambridge and left behind in the hospital bed? Remember? Her family was mad at him because he left her there (and I think time travel ruined her mind too). Could that be some point-in-time Charlotte too?

I don't remember any mention that he loved that woman. Just that he used her as a live human subject. I'll have to go back and watch the episode again to try and catch that.

I was just doing some reading over on lostpedia and they say that the statue seems to be holding an ankh in each hand. I'm trying to find a screen capture showing that but haven't been able to yet.

ETA: Also, the info about Charlotte's birth place and date(1979, Essex, England) was received from Michael. Could it be possible that this bit of intel is unreliable???

I'm hoping Sawyer or Juliet will ask Kate where Aaron is. I'd love to know where she took him.
I'm guessing Claire's mom.

I thought there already was a spoiler on this....a casting call for a 20 year old Aaron AND for Sun's daughter (who's name escapes me). Doesn't necessarily mean they were raised together....or they show up in anything other than a dream.....you know those pesky writers!

WE NEED MORE SPOILERS!

I ask that every week - where are Rose and Bernard? :confused3 They were flashing with Sawyer's group, so we assume they're somewhere on the island in the same time frame.

Not necessarily. Sawyers group was a lot closer to the wheel and it could be that they stopped moving together.

Lock, Sun, Lapiedus, Ben, and the rest of Aijira airways crash are in 2008 and Sun is the woman that took off with Lapiedus.

Here's a question in regards to this crash:

Someone found things from this airliner, who was it and when?

I keep getting the feeling that we are missing something big with this, that the second crash somehow happened before the Oceanic crash!

I think so too. They probably sent them away in case there was a problem. Looked like they had a basic medical set up and no OB to take care of any problems that might arise.

OK....I found one...this is from Kristen at E! online:

WHAT'S TO COME
Lost is moving again—going back even further into the past to explore a terrible incident that changed the course of the Island (and its people) forever. When Lost returns in two weeks, the charming and talented young actor Sterling Beaumon (the kid's 14 and he's recording an album) reprises his role as "young Ben" for what will be a four-episode character arc.

Sterling tells us exclusively that the story is "very major, and it's going to change Ben forever." Sterling, as per usual for Lost castmembers, is sworn to secrecy about exactly what happens but he says this very major thing "involves himself and yes, it is a trauma…Before the change Ben's a nice, good kid…and then one second will change his life forever."

According to Sterling, over the course of this arc, "Ben will [come to] know everything about every little bit about the Island. We're not going to learn more about the past with Dharma, we're going to learn more about the past of the Island." Say it with me people.

Go to lost.cubit.net Great site for screen shots--they've got what you're looking for. He is holding an ankh.

Nice!

Hey, I thought of something that makes me wonder about the new unnamed baby. Sawyer and Juliette would obviously know the baby's name even if it wasn't said on screen. So I would think it wouldn't be instantly recognizable if it is important...
