SPOILER WDW Event Swap

I still have 2 more groups to do, but this is what I have so far.

A1 - HalloWishes

Black paper is from the Fall Glitter Stack. It's got green sparkly, raised bats on it. The Orange paper is from Rusty Pickle's pirate line. Then metallic green, and Orange Bling. I made the Mickey ghosts with CDS. It's just the ghost from Paper Dolls with the Mickey Head from M&F.

D1 - Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade

Paper is from Making Memories new Christmas line.

E1 - Riverside

Paper is Heidi Grace flocked paper from BigLots. The magnolias are from the 50 States cartridge and inked.

Wow Hope!

You always do such good work.

Which items will you making extra of for private exchanges?

Thank you :goodvibes

The first 2 groups are the ones that are issues. Although, the first group (A1) is the only real problem. There are only 2 sheets in the stack, and I don't have enough left to make any more sets. Plus, I got the Rusty Pickle paper in Tahoe (bought all they had) and I haven't seen it locally, although I am sure it is online somewhere. I can post the sizes, Cricut instructions and send the .cut files for the Mickeys (or make the Mickeys and send them if you don't have CDS) and then people could make them if they got the paper.

The second group (D1) I bought the last four sheets of Making Memories paper from Archivers, but it is their Christmas line for this year, so I'm sure I will be able to get more eventually. And I bought the last 3 sheets of French Vanilla Bazzill from Michaels. Again, I'm sure they will get more, but I can't make extras of the set right now.

The rest, are not a problem to make extras, if someone needed something. :goodvibes But I did not make extras in advance.

Yes, I do believe the PPs are the best. How do you do yours? They always look so nice.

Was this question for me? Anyway, here is what I do.

Find an image -- not really very easy. I download it. In my photo editing program (which is just whatever came with my HP printer) I size it. I can't always re-size right. I don't know how to do what Hope does -- taking apart the different pieces -- I have to print it over and over again. So for the Mickey pumpkin, I printed it on orange cardstock, 2 times for each pumpkin since the ears are pop-dotted, I printed it on yellow cardstock, green cardstock and then tan. I cut out the pieces. I run a black marker over the edges of most of the pieces -- this darkens lines and hides any tiny pieces that didn't get cut. Especially the tail -- it was a lot thinner on the actual picture. I usually try to find something to pop-dot. The ears on the pumpkin are popped. On Mickey dresses up, the hands and the pumpkin are popped.

Thanks again for the nice comments.

Great work Hope! I'd love a copy of the cut file or directions for the Mickey ghost.

Omg Hope, your Mickey is adorable! Will I ever be good enough to trade you something for a set of Mickeys? I am never letting go of my Dumbo!
Beautiful work as always!:flower3:

Adding my spoliers

Pirates & Princess element -- supposed to be journal boxes, but they are a bit large. White box is 4x4, could hold a photo.

I  them all.
Gosh I wish I could talk DH into going during this time.

Thanks.

It helps that DH's favorite time of year is fall and Halloween. He spent the last week decorating outside; I think he spent more at ACM & Michaels in the last 2 months than I did!

Everything is awesome.

I'm new to the swaps over here. i have my title finished. I'll to post a pic. I need some feedback. Im not sure I like it enough. :)

So heres 2 pics. the metallic paper didnt photgraph well. I used PPDU for the "map" so it cut an X. Its sorta hidden under the C in Captain. you have to look really close to see it. I was thinking about moving Capt over and maybe makeing the x red.

Any thoughts?

Moving "The" up and over would give you the room to slide the "Captain" a little more to the right. Is that what you were thinking?

I love the colors and the format of your topper.

I like your idea of the red x and moving the captain over. I also want to remind you that we use double layers for our titles- I love the colors and such that you have choosen out and are doing but to get a double layer to the title, take the black paper and cut the map again slightly larger. They may not sit directly over each other but you can stack them so both are visible.

See, I would disagree with the need for additional matting.

2 layers of mats + an unmatted letter (like a sticker or a Sizzix die cut) would count. That's 3 layers of paper. IMO, One layer of mat, with the matted letters would work too. It's also 3 layers of paper. Especially with the unique shaping.

But I'm not Shauna, so I don't know what she is thinking. The requirements were only:

TOPPER - The size and orientation is up to you. Please do not make it more than 8 inches wide. You may cut letters out to spell a title but make sure the letters are at least 1 1/4 inches and have a shadow matted behind each letter. If you choose to cut out a title, place letters in a separate baggie and let us know what they spell.

But I think it looks very cute, but I agree with AWM to move "The" up and over. What is the paper for the mat? Did you buy it that way? It looks distressed or something. I like it.

I didn't notice the letters were matted until I looked at it again. I would agree that there are 3 layers in that case.
