Hmmm, well Lucas used myths and storied from our past to create his story. Perhaps that is what they did with Pirates. There are some formulas that are sure to work maybe this is one of them

It's possible Jack and Elizabeth are brother and sister. Was Elizabeth's mother ever even mentioned? Well, they'd have to be halves, but it's possible.

Hmmm, well Lucas used myths and storied from our past to create his story. Perhaps that is what they did with Pirates. There are some formulas that are sure to work maybe this is one of them

Yup - those myths and stories of good vs. evil lay the foundation for a lot of things....almost exactly the same thing can be said for JK Rowling and Harry Potter v. Star Wars. My family thinks I'm crazy when I make the comparison, but look:

1)Luke/Leia = Harry and Hermione, split up at the time of their mother's death to protect them. Luke and Harry are orphans. Like Leia from the Empire, Hermione's existance was hidden so her powers were hidden from Voldemort - how do we KNOW that Hermoine's Muggle parents are really her parents? There's definately romantic tension b/w Hermione & Harry / Ron. And, all rebels with a cause....
2) Chewy = Hagrid
3) Ewoks = House Trolls
4) Jedi Councel = The Order of the Pheonix
5) Yoda = Dumbledore
6) Sirius kinda = Obi Wan - and is Sirius *frozen* somewhere???????
7) Light Sabers = Wands
8) The Force = Magic

Countless other similarities (and yes, some differences) but, if HP holds true to myths and legends and this formula - that makes Voldemort Harry's father ....

PS- The Hero Myth goes back farther than Star Wars I think some people have been reading The Hero With A Thousand faces
