Being a major fan of Star Wars for over a decade now, I love the new Star Tours. It's everything I wanted and more.

In fact, there's only one complaint I have about the attraction.

And it's simply that the continuity is off. I know it's not THAT big of a deal. Really nitpicky. For instance,

You can start from the Battle of Hoth (Which takes place in Empire Strikes Back) and end up at the Battle for Naboo (Which takes place years earlier in the Phantom Menace)

Now I know this is only a minor thing. But it still rubbed me sort of the wrong way. Anyone else?

I don't know if this tidbit of information helps but, the ride is actually different scenes pieced together through a randomizer. There are 52 combinations of the beginning, the two middles, and the ending. My cousin and I were lucky enough to go on it twice and were a bit confused to see the differences; we just had to ask a castmember about it. :)

Pardon me, but there is actually 54 different combinations. :)

There are two openings, three beginning scenes, three intermissions, and three endings. Which as an above poster said equals up to 54 different mix and match scenarios. (Which some are better then others.)

I agree that they need to stop marketing the "54 different experiences" because it oversells it to most people. A more honest approach would be 6 possible destinations, since that is the truth.
I was confused as to why we rode 4 times and only had two different rides, statisics wise, it is improbable to hit the exact same sequence twice out of 54 different combinations.

It really does. While I never had the exact same ride, I did have multiple rides where only a scene was different. After the first ride, it's more difficult to enjoy the ride all the way through, because you might experience the same one again.

It makes me really happy that the DISBlog promotes it as "6 Different Destinations". Good job guys. :D

I was a huge Star Wars fan back in the day. I don't think the sequences will bother me since this is supposed to be a traveling to a destination thing and not just a ride through the movie. Just tell yourself with all that light speed, it's possible to jump to different realms.;):goodvibes

Hahaha, I like that! I love the ride. It's my one of my new favorites. I just like being real nitpicky. ;)

Cool, I was wondering how many scenes each section had. I rode 5 times, and looks like all I missed was one ending.
