I've just read the thread and we don't get the show here until Friday. All those weeks of watching - I can't believe I know the result before it's screened.

Anyone who's already read the other thread, but not seen the post declaring the result will now probably work out who's won based on what you said on that thread, which sort of defeats the object of this Spoiler Alert thread. Would you consider amending your post on this thread? I know in the scheme of things it's not really that important, but after watching the show since it started, I do feel very cheated to have found out this way and the purpose of my thread was to warn others, not to start another American Idol discussion.

Just going to bump this one above the American Idol thread it refers to that I have replied against so no-one gets disappointed.

Maybe one of the mods could make this a sticky so that it remains at the top of the board.

Again, I am so sorry about naming the winner on the other thread

I guess I figured with global news the way it is, people would read it on the web.

I did go back and change my post as not to give any inkling as to who won. So if you want to add something to the other thread, feel free to read it (unless someone else posts something).

No worries, Lorraine - it's really not that big a deal in the scheme of things. With all the troubles in the World at the moment it's fairly easy to put your troubles into perspective and I'm far less stressed about it now than when I was shooting from the hip first thing this morning!

... I was being careful not to look anywhere where I meet see the result before I saw the programme, then whilst waiting at the check out in the supermarket, I opened the paper and there was an article about the winner !

Just seen the show (repeated this afternoon - Sat) - wasn't she good ?!
