Hello all!

For our June trip I want to see WDW version of Fantasmic and HEA. We've been on several Disney trips on both costs, but I will admit we spoil ourselves with dessert parties and dinning packages.

In 2021 I saw enchantment with a dessert party and once I saw the size of the available space to watch and the fact that I could have just gotten a QS and found a spot for a lot cheaper I said I wouldn't do it again.

So.. is it hard to get good viewing for these shows? I will also admit my previous WDW trips were "Covid" trips in 2020 and 2021.. this will be my first with the parks back to "normal". I'm used to Disneyland which is so different for Fantasmic.

Thanks!

It really depends on how early you are prepared to arrive for the fireworks. If you want your choice of location for HEA or be towards the front of the line for Fantasmic, you will pretty much need to line up/find a place to watch a minimum of 90 mins before they begin.

Fantasmic often plays twice per night, around 8:30 and 10pm. You really don’t need a package for this. The later show is very easy to get seating. The earlier show is a bit harder but unless it is insane crowds you should be fine arriving 30 minutes before the show, or 45 minutes if you want pick of more seating options.

HEA… it’s crowded in the hub and down Main Street. Showing up extra early does guarantee a decent spot but not necessarily a good view because people can show up late and plant themselves right on top of you. This show makes better use of splurging for the upgrade if wanting to avoid the possibility of extreme crowding.

We did the Fantasmic package as we would have dined at that restaurant anyway and you had one of the better sections reserved for sitting. However, you still had to get there early as the sections filled fast.
