Splitting up our family for FP+ Attractions

I made all of our FP+ reservations today. On one of the EPCOT days we needed to split up so my older guys can go to Mission Space while I take our youngest to the character spot. I ended up making res. for my older guys for the day and then for me and my youngest. I just make sure our times overlapped on the other two rides.

Is that the easiest way? I could not get the times to match up exactly. It looks fine online, but my app is missing one of the reservations.

I usually make reservations for everyone and then modify the ones who want to ride something different.

I split our FPs a lot for this reason. I like to do it like this: Drop off the riders at the ride the little ones aren't taking, and get a rider switch pass. Then while they are going go use my FP with the kids. Then come back to the original ride and go with the rider swap (and the older kids can ride again with you).

App can be glitchy I wouldn't worry about it if it shows up right in MDE.

We did that too - the girls and I went to see Anna & Elsa, and DH & DS were off to BTMRR - they also managed another ride or two before we were done. The girls and I did the Teacups before our FP+ time as they didn't perfectly match up for us - but we met up right after and continued on our day!
