I'm going in 2 weeks with DS and DD, plus friend and her sons, age 9, 7, and twin 6 year olds (we're leaving dear hubbies at home). Has anyone ever done table service, like prime time cafe or the like, and had the tab split? I don't want to cause problems for a server, but it would be simpler for us to just pay for ourselves rather than figure out "who ordered what". I don't know the policy for two tabs at one table. Thanks!

The POS computers at all Disney restaurants make it really easy to split checks. Just let the server know before you order that you will be wanting seperate checks, its not a big deal at all.

TS was easy for splitting the bill. There were five in our party, the three of us and my friend and her DD. We ate at 50's PrimeTime and Teppanyaki and asked to have separate checks and it was no problem for the servers. They were more than happy to accomodate.

It's the buffets where we had issue. At both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace we never had the opportunity to request separate checks. I'm not sure that they could have done it. My friend just paid me and I put the full bill on our room key.

Back in 2003 we went with two other families. We always asked at the begining of the meal and was never a problem. Even at buffets.

POS stations at any restaurant anywhere have the option of splitiing checks-no matter how many in your party.Do tell them before hand, makes it much easier than having to go back and move/seprate afterward.
