Splitting Stay/ No Car

What is the most convenient way to swith resorts if you do not have a car?

Will disney transport your luggage for you? DO you need to drag your luggage on a resort bus? Do I have to breakdown and get a cab to move us and our luggage?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Disney will have your luggage moved between the resorts. If I were you, I would approach guest services at your resort with your requests shortly after check-in. You will need to drop your luggage at the front desk on the am of the day you are switching resorts...then go to a park and enjoy yourself. At around 3pm you can check into your new resort and if all goes according to plan your luggage will be in the bellmans closet.

I did this on my last trip and did not have any problems. I called the bell desk, they came, tagged my bag, gave me a receipt and I was on my way to a park. When I checked in after 3pm the luggage was there. If you plan on hitting the pool before your room is ready, I'd bring your suit and whatever else you'll need (i.e. book, lotion, etc.) with you.

We have always had a car to switch resorts, but this last time we didnt. I really wanted to get settled in our room asap because we were going to be out for the rest of the day and wouldnt be home until bedtime(it was Christmas Eve). We called ahead to the Poly to see if our room was ready. If it werent we were going to send the luggage through Bell Services, but since the room was ready we went for a cab. It was only about $10.00 and well worth it for the convenience of having our luggage there and being able to settle in before taking off for the day.
