splitting Movies to BWV

hi guys, trying a split stay for the 1st time in october. We're coming in late and staying at ASM for a night (cash- no point rooms avail to stay in our point allotment w/o borrowing) before we move to our 1BR at BWV. I know they can move our luggage nice and easy, but what about the DDP that we are getting? do I need to go to BWV in the am and check in before we go to a park or can we get cards with DDP on it before hitting a park at ASM?

If the DDP is attached to your DVC stay, then you need to check in at BWV, pay for the DDP and pick up you KTTW cards with your DDP credits. Your room may not be ready, but you can start using your DDP credits and charge to your room account as soon as you get your KTTW cards.

We had a split stay at Pop Century then Kidani and we had to go to Kidani to check in and then get the Dining plan there.

That's the thing with split stays you have two check ins, two bills and if you want two different dining plans. It's a little more complicated buying a DDP on a cash stay as well as there are some requirements about park tickets. But it sounds like you only have the DDP with your BWV stay and DisneyNuts has told you about that.
